Heritage property in Kandy

The property is a famous one the City of Kandy. Well connected with public transport. Be careful when you book the room as there is some confusion in the room photos. I booked a room with a balcony called the superior room but was told that the photos are in incorrectly updated on the sites. Once this was highlighted to the front desk, they were prompt to be moving us to the room that was booked by us. The property manager was Kalpani and was extremely helpful and courteous and manges the property well.

Good location- opp the lake. Check-in took a good time inspite of we reaching around 3 pm. Rooms are good with required amenities. But the bathroom was small mainly the bath area which was very tiny- just 1.5 feet!! The buffet spread wasn't huge and tasted ok. Overall just enough for a day stay.

Even though the property is an old building it has been well maintained and preserved. The location is optimal if you want to go to the mall or the tooth relic temple or walk around the lake. Definitely worth the cost.

The Hotel Suisse Kandy has an amazing old world feel with wide wooden corridors and beautifully built rooms with high ceilings. The location is also great. We close to eating places and the tooth relic temple.

We have got very small room but on sharing with the staff, they offered good room on the next day
