Things to Do in Dalhousie

  • St Patrick’s Church

If you happen to visit Dalhousie on the weekend, do visit St Patrick’s church on Sunday as the authorities conduct a weekly service that is attended by locals and tourists alike in huge number. Just 2 kilometres from the bus stand in Dalhousie; this Catholic Church stands out with its tall building and a huge hall that can accommodate around 300 people. Some of the British Army officers contributed generously to construct this church in 1909 and it is now one of the major attractions in Dalhousie.

  • Bhuttico

Established in 1944 by a bunch of local women, Bhuttico displays a wide variety of the famous Kullu shawls which are made of different raw materials like lambswool, angora, pashmina and the very recent and popular embroidered shawls. Prices may vary and start from as low as 300 to as high as 7000. Though it’s a fixed-price shop, you would not mind paying more as the cloth quality is genuine and up to the mark.
