This is wonderful place, near and clean Rooms and Bathroom. Amazing forest belt and limited inventory makes it personalized. Must visit !!

PROS - Good location, Cool temperature, Super friendly staff, Fresh Food, can rent Scooty. CONS - Overprice of decent room (i paid 3700 for 1 night) , Be careful from Mosquitos, Saw a big spider on a bed, Stinky washroom, You can hear people beside your room, after drinking people can disturb you as i had bad experience with them i said twice please don't disturb (if you are a budget traveller there are many other option with better room)

This is a birding destination. The hotel was leading both morning and afternoon excursions for birding and the majority of guests were there for that. It's a very pretty location. They provide 3 good meals a day if you desire. It's beautifully sunny and warm during the day but cold at night in december. I was not there for birding, rather temples and did visit golu devta temple ghorakhal - which is pretty close and powerful. I think kainchi dham is possible for a day trip but the traffic can be bad, so don't recommend this as a base as the stress of coming and going may take you out of the baba ji buzz. I continued on to a stay at kainchi which is much more relaxing for that specific purpose.

Hello guys, i will always remember my stay in wild kumaon, rooms were super clean, basic amenities were there, balcony, spacious rooms, full privacy, no noise at all. People who love quiet place will be fond of this place. This property is for the bird watchers. The staff was so generous, kind and polite. They were always on duty and served us very well. I highly recommend this property to youngsters. Last, food was so delicious and amazing, the quantity sufficient and you will feel stuffed after the meal. Please visit this property once in your lifetime.

We chose to stay at Wild Kumaon after reading the reviews. The mornings r the best time, when you will hear the chirping of numerous birds from different species. It's the best place to de-stress, it offers a serene ambiance, perfectly in tune with nature. The only cons is the road to the property, which is unpaved for about 300 meters

Its a good place if you want to experience the raw nature, the jungle and birdwatching. But there are big insects, spiders and leeches. Host and staff are nice. Food is also good.

The food was very good, service was good and the location was very peaceful. But it's not worth the price. The rooms have zero amenities. You just get bed, fan and lights. Also the dirt road leading upto it is not suitable for smaller cars. So be mindful.

It was such a grit pleasure to stay in wild kumaon. Staff was so good n humble n ready to provide service on a call. Facilities were grit n especially food was awsome. From breakfast to dinner. It was overall delicious meal. Further, simplicity n humbleness of staff that too hilly people was grt. Highly recommended. Grt!

Excellent place very cordial staff, arrangements were much better than expected. Kudos to staff, their warmth, awesome fresh food. Highly recommended. The property is perfectly located at a serene place where you can only hear the sound of the birds chirping and the cool breeze blowing. I am really overwhelmed by the hospitality of the property staff especially gopal ji and neer.

Place was very calm & is home to many birds. Service was amazing, staff made us feel at home. They dont stock food & make everything fresh. We tasted local food & bought some back home. The staff believes in the concept of co-exisiting with nature & they walk the talk as well. Special metion to Neer, he took us to nearby less explored places and also on a nature walk where we spotted quite a few birds. Overall, we had a great stay and a pleasant experience. PS: Road to property is a little unpaved but hey no access issues.
