Review Of Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Race Course, Coimbatore

My Stay at the Welcome Hotel Coimbatore was truly amazing. Staff members Mr. Arun, Rizwan, Vivian, Guna. Manas and other staff members were really good. I thank you for your excellent service.

Though they charge approx for a day use, the room they alloted me had a tv which was not working. After complaining, a technician visited but had no knowledge of the error message the tv displayed and he had to check with some other people to ascertain the problem it had. Finally, another guy walked in after one hour and changed the set-off box. My question is, why does this so-called itc branded star hotel not check this fault before letting out the room and causing unnecessary trouble to the guests.

Have stayed at ITC for about 6-7 times now; the service is consistent, the majority of employees are warm. In today’s day and age, it is one of the properties that still makes a hotel feel warm and cosy- the smiles, the constant greetings by every staff member from the security guard at the gate to the lady at the scanner zone to even a HK person who’s standing completely out of the way- instead of choosing to ignore they wait and actually greet- something that is missing even in chains like Taj and especially AH. A big shout out to Papia and Ajay for their warm smiles and the fnb team headed by Anand - who himself seems very dedicated to his role. This truly is one property where the GM is doing a fantastic job - this culture trickles top down. That said we do face one off minor issues- they do get resolved with utmost dedication and care. That is what makes it amazing. The way they deal with issues. They have an operational baby pool too - wish the pool attires could be followed to maintain decorum - just an observation- I’m sure the hotel is catering to the guests’ comfort.

This hotel is located in a centre of the city. Room was excellent, nice amenities. Service was good. Food was really good and breakfast had many options. Overall we had a nice stay.

We had a very pleasant one-night stay at Welcomhotel by ITC, Coimbatore. Right from check-in, the hospitality was warm and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean, neatly maintained, and had all the comforts for a relaxed stay. The highlight was definitely the food – it was simply awesome, with a wide variety and excellent taste that truly stood out. The staff were courteous and attentive, ensuring everything was taken care of with a smile. Overall, it was a short but memorable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Coimbatore, whether for business or leisure.

Centrally located at Coimbatore. Close to railway station and many other government offices, yet a very peaceful locality. The food was good not outstanding though. The Sabudana payasam was too sweet and the waffles were hard. I don’t know if they are supposed to be like that. In that case, please ignore my comment on food. The amnesties were all great, if I were to nitpick I would say that the conditioner dispenser in the bathroom was not dispensing the liquid. The room service was great.

More than thrice I stayed this hotel, every time I am informing about their bathroom facility issues bt still they are not make.any changes but this hotel 5 star and ITC group..quite unbelievable why particularly this location they are not maintaining properly... Only Small head shower other than nothing faucet or hand shower...Just think how kids and senior citizens take head shower bath... Basic essentials they failed to rectify nor modify which i told several time but not take it forward ..future I won't prefer this hotel

The stay was good. The room was very clean and tidy. Loved the ambiance of the room. Food was excellent. The property is comfortably situated near race course and is well connected with major spots of the city.

The stay was super comfortable at ITC Coimbatore. While a lot of the star hotels in the city are not well maintained ITC does a great job. Spacious rooms, had all the necessary amenities. And the location was just perfect and very accessible for shopping and very close by to pretty nice restaurants in the town.

Food was average not upto a five star.. Location and facilities are good...

A good property but the room tariff and food cost at the restaurant is very high compared to other properties of the same class. If the food is affordable then we can avoid ordering from outside through Swiggy etc.

location is very good,breakfast was awesome and staff was very cooperative. I have booked for day but due to not getting reservation of train I extend by booking for next morning but You charge again full day .

I was quite excited n looking forward to stay at the reputed n popular ITC chain hotel as most of their properties have benchmark standards and are world renowned!! Check in was easy,smooth and the staff was very warm helpful and welcoming. only qualm is the security at gate who kept handling my personal stuff despite my request to let me do it by myself !! Room decoration and furnishings was of very good quality to high standards n the cleanliness was impeccable. I was so relieved to be in good accommodation after managing with three stars in three tier cities for last few days as most of them were downright disappointing despite hefty prices !! Unfortunately my happiness was short lived as there was major goof up by maintenance.Washroom water supply was downright dirty n unhygienic as a shock 😱I have had to use that dirty water for all activities including bathing brushing etc .Not only was it a great health hazard .The unpleasant experience majorly triggered my anxiety n caused great distress since I have long standing OCD It lead to physical sickness but also great anguish for me and I decided to check out immediately. When I tried to get help for same I discovered that the telephone instrument was not in working order at all with a snapped wire 😱 Ultimately I stepped out to get help n managed to check out lodging a complaint at the reception . This kind of experience at a 5 star of such huge stature was apalling ,stressful and completely unacceptable..I wish to have a complete n full refund of my booking n compensation for my harrowing experience caused by poor management

Food is so good. Property is so clean . Some staffs are so humble. Especially food! Excellent service. I was there in short period. But there is no flexibility in amount we are paying. Not even have a consideration because I spend nearly 10k for 8hrs.

The location is good right centre of the city. The facility was nice and the food was ok not too good but ok.
