While the room was okay, it wasn’t entirely clean. The linen and one of the towels were stained and didn’t look freshly washed. There was also no handwash provided in the bathroom, which was a basic necessity that was missing.
At check-in, we requested chilled water, and when two bottles were delivered to our room, they were not sealed. When we asked about it, we were told that sealed cold water wasn’t available. If I hadn’t noticed, this would’ve gone completely unmentioned.
The biggest disappointment, however, was the food. My booking included all three meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I was informed that lunch would be served in the room in a thali, while breakfast and dinner would be in buffet format. Lunch was simple: dal, rice, roti, paneer sabzi, and very watered-down raita. We assumed dinner and breakfast would be similar, and we were fine with that.
But during dinner at the rooftop buffet, the only dishes available were dal, roti, rice, salad, and torai sabzi. That’s it. We had paid nearly ₹600 extra to include lunch and dinner in our booking, and this level of food and variety was just not worth it.
Overall, I feel like the experience did not justify the price. Just booking the room is still okay, but not the food.
