I had a wonderful stay at the property! The location was very convenient, the rooms were neat and well-maintained, and the staff was extremely polite and helpful. The food was delicious with good variety, and all the facilities provided made the stay very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

Overall, the stay was pleasant, but there are some areas that need attention. Despite repeated reminders, we did not receive the extra bed that was requested. The breakfast menu could be improved by offering more variety and balance. Additionally, the service at the rooftop restaurant was quite slow and could benefit from better staffing or coordination.

Food especially break fast is very amazing. Location of the property is very good as we can easily go to secratariate, ags office, padmanabha swamy temple etc. Facilities are very good but when compared with the price and similar properties some more facilities such as shaving kit, comb etc may arrange

One day at the Residency
It's behind the government secretariat, on the press road. It's located centrally close to railway station, as well as close to the market place. The food breakfast is complementary. There is lunch individual and buffet. The buffet is good, around 800 with taxes. Good variety of food, like soup , vegetarian, NV. Kerala food, , juice, etc. The beef ,fish, chicken were fresh. Vegetables were good. Service was good. We had booked a basic room, but it was updated for some reason. Breakfast was complementary, but good , bread, butter, puttu, sweets , oats, milk, donuts, semiya, fresh dosa, with eggs. Fruits were good, grilled tomato. Bed was good, rooms were good, bathrooms were clean, ac was good , water heater for drinking water was available. The only issue, was that there were few bed bugs, Good swimming pool, gym was also good.

Not recommended for normal people
We have booked through and checked in around 8 pm. They are supposed to give room for 24 hrs, instead of that they forced us to vaccate the room around 12 pm, that we couldn't agree. We vaccate the room around 4pm, they charged extra 1200 Rs apart frm 3600 Rs that we already paid. There are plenty of rooms avaiable and they didn't adjust for 2-3 hours. Also they charged Rs. 30 for one small pack of biscuit instead of Rs. 10 mentioned on the pack.Not recommended for normal people.

familyShower water temperature difficult to control, hotel unable to issue 2nd key card saying all cards are used up. Lots of renovation activity going on at the main entrance and so on.

Location is very approachable, breakfast was awesome

I am a solo, female traveller. This is one of the places that are very, very nice to stay, and stay safely. Very nice room, clean, hygienic washrooms. You can relax in the hot shower, have nice food (i have gluten, fodmap sensitivities, and they cutsomised my food for me. Cannot thank the chef enough, and relax away from the rush of the world, in the calming ambience. The staff are courteous, friendly, and very helping, even in the rush of the holidays.
