Location and convenience our worst of all

You have to walk a lot to reach mall road

This homestay is very down and poor road conditions and difficult for up-down to darjeeling mall. Rooms are very small.

Property was not good as it was down the hill. Rooms are very small, uncomfortable toilets, attendant were not co operative. Proper foods are also not available

False committed. The room is very small and dirty. No vehicle reach there. You only depends on koli. You have to walk minimum one kilometre down. Its very dangerous slope.

The worst stay i'll ever have. No water for two consecutive days. Worst location. Travel a bad height to reach the mall road. Don't stay here

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sweet Journey Homestay. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed by Mr. Kaushik Banerjee( who is the owner) .The homestay is ideally located in view of Kanchenjunga Range view providing easy access to Temples and Mall Road. The amenities were excellent—reliable Wi-Fi, delicious breakfasts. The room was cozy, spotless, and very comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made me feel at home. What truly set this stay apart was the incredible hospitality of Mr Kaushik Sir . They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. Communication was seamless, and they were always available to offer local insights and recommendations. I particularly enjoyed [a memorable experience. The homestay was impeccably clean, and the attention to detail was evident everywhere. I appreciated the small gestures, such as the owner directly asking me whether i need anything or help of anything of any kind , i mean no owner i have seen does like this, Mr Kaushik is a Gem Of A Person and his wife also, they both were so humble i mean i cannot ask of anything more. For future guests, I highly recommend taking advantage of the view in terrace and particular service offered by the homestay Thank you Kaushik Sir and Ma’am for making my stay so memorable. I can’t wait to return and would recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a genuine and enriching travel experience. Thank you Sir and Ma’am

It's far away from darjeeling mall (walking 25-30 mins from hotel to mall) and also the road was very bad & narrow. Room cleaning not available. Food was very costly.

Horrible. Stinky

Bathroom was too small and not clean, geyser was not working, very disappointed. Insects are in the room. Next day we book another hotel for two days. My advised to mm t kindly see the room before book for your valuable customers.

What i really liked about my stay that is the behaviour of staff and owner. Also the valley and mountain view from the room's common balcony and terrace was eye catching

Property's location was really very nice. There was a boy name meghnad, cooks really delicious foods. Owners behaviour is also very good. But this place is not recommended for those who have some problem with legs and not recommended for pregnant women also.

I could not find thesweet happy journey homestat, the contact no given is unreachable, at last i have to book in another hotel. So kindly refund back my booking amount. I did not stay, there because i could not find the hotel.

दार्जलिंग में इसे घटिया होटल नहीं देखा । यहाँ पे आप गाड़ी लेके जा नहीं सकते आपको मेन रोड से 5 किलोमीटर पैदल ऊपर चढ़ना पड़ेगा । अगर आपके पास लगेज़ है तो यहाँ तक पहुँचने में आपको हार्ट अटैक आ जाएगा । आप अगर जैसे तैसे रूम तक पहुँच भी गए तो उसके बाद आपको होटल रूम तक जाने के लिए पतले से रास्ते में कुत्ते की टट्टियो के साथ नीचे सीढ़ियों पे उतरना पड़ेगा । उसके बाद रूम इतना घटिया लो सैलिंग और नीचे गंदे कार्पेट जिसपे आपको पैर रखने में भी दिक़्क़त होगी । और हितेल स्टाफ इतने बेकार की आपके किसी ज़रूरत को पूरा नहीं करेंगे। जो भी भई आगे बुक करे मूनतीं व्यू देख कर होटल के झाँसे में ना आये ।

I'm terribly disappointed with the facilities such as bedding (not comfortable. Although i admit that the sunrise view from this homestay is beautiful. But at the end of the day, it's where i would stay for my journey and a tourist need a good sleep which he cannot attain unless there's a good bed available for him to sleep on. Also the location is a bit further away on google maps. So the travellers staying in this homestay must call the homestay owner or his representative to reach this destination. Also, the flooring was sticky. Room & bathroom too small in size as compared to charges charged on the room.

most uncomfortable and unhygienic place i have ever visited. room without any television.water was not there.and the main part is about to come. The owner **he is just there to smoking.he will do all the promises and won't response later. they have only two uneducated stuffs with 100% attitude.so guys if u wanna waste ur money thn go ahead.geyser was not working*water was not there*unprofessional behaviour*room size = 7×7*bed size = 6×5*pathetic location*

Its very comfortable and healthy enviroment for family, mr kausik is very helping in nature. They provide very good food with minimum price as compare with other, so thanks to mr kausik and staf of sweet happy journy homestay. This is the view from homestay

Well the owner, mr kaushik was very friendly but the hotel needs some improvements. The stairs leading to the hotel is very steep and slippery. They should also improve the cleanliness. There is a deficiency of staff in the hotel.
