Review Of Summit Gangchen Hotel

Due to bad weather conditions , Lachen permit was denied by government authorities. Hotel denied refund , but other hotel in lachun offered refund or credit . Very unprofessional staff . Bad weather is very normal in these areas so think twice while booking from makemytrip . Other agents have done the adjustments

Every thing was excellent.But big mirror was not available in the room.Roims,washroom were in good condition

Best hotel in Lachen as there is no professionally managed hotel. Stayed in family room 601. Sunrise from hotel is fantastic. Only concern is limited mobile access.

The property is nice but its not in lachen ... its almost 4 - 5 kms outside lachen ... the room was small and had no cupboards not even a small place to keep the clothes ... there was no room heater provided ... the bed was heated though but due to the low temperatures there only bed heater does not work ... the room and the washroom was clean ... dinner was scarcely available even in the buffet ... food was also not tht great ... its ok for one night stay ...

The hotel is located at a beautiful location..The rooms were clean and spa ious..The bathroom was clean.The hotel staff were very co operative and were very welcoming..The food was delicious..Overall the place was worth staying.

We booked the family room.. it was very spacious. And the electric blanket saved our lives in that cold weather. The view from the hotel was very pretty.. it is not exactly in lachen. It is 2-4km below lachen. The price of the food may be expensive for some people but the taste was very good.I felt the price is justified for the room n the hotel

We stayed there for the night on the way to lachung so really didnt get the chance to check on the details.but it was good enough to stay there.food was good.washroom was clean.amenities was good but one problem was there no wifi connected .its bit problem .i will suggest to clean up the beds more carefully thats it.uts look bit older to me.but for one night its good.the people were good and concern about the need of the guests.and we asked for the packed breakfast for take away so they arranged it well.

This is a terrible property. We were left shivering in cold at -5 celcius, there was no electricity, there generator were not working, no hot water.

We stayed for 2 days, it’s a new property 3 km before Lachen. Descent room size heated mattress . Breakfast was good and dinner they provided good variety. Only issue I felt was water since bisleri is banned probably an alternative could been provided like boiling water. Staff was very cooperative they even light up the fire in the evening .

This is a scam. This hotel is not operational. When I reached the place they refused the entry as most of the hotels are shut in Lachen. Me and my wife were in middle pf no where without network connectivity and roof over our head in middle of night in -8 degree temperature. When somehow we reached with borrowed bsnl phone. They had no idea and did not help.

We booked this property in jun e while we traveled in the month of september. The staff chandan, rahul, robin, vijay, deepali and ashwin are the stars of the place and ramkumar, the chef. How can i forget him, amazing and lipsmackin dishes. Rooms are cleaned and well ventilated and are the same as per the pictures. 5 stars to all the staff and after all they are the one who makes the difference.

Best hotel in lachen to stay with quality service. It provides every possible support. The food was amazing. The view is also amazing from the rooms.

Very conveniently located. Nice cosy rooms but need some more furnitures like a mirror and a cupboard in a room. This property is absolutely new and they are expecting to get it done within a month or so. Management staff is ever eager to be at service. Mr. Rajdeep banerjee and mr. Chandan dais are to be specially named. Bell boys and girls are very very active. Restaurant is optimum. As much as is possible in this remote area

While the hotel is new and staff is friendly, the place is 3-4kms away from lachen and not in lachen as mentioned in the description. Food is good. Except for the location nothing seriously to complaint about.

My stay at this hotel is the worst till date. Very bad manager. Very bad receptionist. Very very very bad behaviour. Room was full of insects. Flying insects were there in the room. They didn't cared for my concern. Big noooo to this hotel. Hate everything
