I have not stayed here after checking the room quality. Poorly managed. They charged for one night. ( yet to get the bill and refund. I had to search for a different hotel at night 12 am. I request for the full refund of my whole amount which i paid as advance.

Terrible Stay
businessThere is another proper way to the hotel due metro rail work. The hotel is very badly managed in terms of cleanliness, no proper service. Very poor maintenance

I stayed with 3 of my office colleagues. Room is not clean and no lights, full of cocroaches, cigarette smoling smell everywhere in the room. Worst hotel to stay. When we asked they say pls come next time and we will provide good rooms. Not sure since we booked. They provided just worst quality rooms.

Once a gem, now a letdown: a disappointing stay
familyDuring my recent stay at this hotel, i encountered several issues that severely impacted my experience. Many of the lights in the room did not work, and the intercom and fan were also non-functional. Additionally, the hotel does not offer any in-house dining options; guests must rely on swiggy for lunch and dinner orders. On one of my stay days, the lift was out of service, which was particularly inconvenient since my room was on the fourth floor. Although there was a tea kettle in the room, there were no tea bags or cups provided, making it impossible to enjoy a cup of tea. The bathroom also had a persistent unpleasant odor. On the positive side, the rooms are very spacious, and the location is convenient. However, due to ongoing construction work on the road outside, boarding an auto or cab, or even walking, is extremely difficult. It is disappointing to note that this hotel, which used to be excellent with all facilities a few years ago, has declined in quality and service.

soloThe hotel room was really bad and bad lighting, wash room was a too bad. Bad smell and place was deserted. Luvkiky a/c was working perfectly. Please ask tbe management to upgrade the hotel. It's not worth the cost. Sorry to say.

Very centrally located hotel
The location is very centrally located in the main shopping area in t nagar. Everything you need is in walkable distance. There are jogging tracks, temples and big and nice parks just adjacent to the hotel. Food in the breakfast served is good in taste and served hot. Services too from the hotel management is very good.

businessThe hotel room is horrible ac not working. Bathroom walls seepage. Bed bugs live wires can seen everywhere. I didn't stay for more than 4hours. I lost the money

Very average stay
The property looks old. From the entrance, it is poorly maintained, someone knocked my room and abruptly tried to open. The staff and cleanliness is not good. Washroom cleanliness is ok. Overall budget it is hotel with limited amenities. Not suggesting for women travellers.

The staff and employee were customer friendly and helpful. Stayed 2 nights from 27 - 29 dec. Maintenance of the rooms surely needs a lot of improvement. Only breakfast available. Had a good stay

familyI stayed at southern crest hotel for six nights with my family and we had a nice experience. The hotel is located in t. Nagar, which is a great area for shopping and sightseeing. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful, and the room was spacious and clean. The hotel also provided free breakfast, which was tasty and filling. The only downside was that the room maintenance and service were not up to the mark, and we had to call the reception to get things fixed or cleaned. Overall, i would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a budget-friendly and comfortable stay in chennai.

It is not maintained properly and wall got scratches here and there. Paint came out and room was not cleaned.

Third-rate quality of room and service
1. No approach road to the hotel and need to walk 300 meters because of metro construction. 2. Difficult to locate and no one around to give direction because it was midnight. Spend 18 min to locate in the cab. The hotel contact number given rings but no one answers. The reception counter says the number was wrong3. Ac does not work and fans makes too much noise. 4. White towels turned yello with dark gray streaks. Bed sheet has six dark spots and god knows which bacteria were growing5. Breakfast: no water on the table and no one to serve. When requested, it took 6 min. Asked for coffee, and no coffee even after 8 min.
