Soorya Residency is a good and affordable hotel to stay in Palakkad. It is right on Robinson Road, near the District Hospital. It's easy to reach — just about 5 km from the railway station and only 750 meters from the KSRTC Bus Stand. I stayed in a Standard AC room for 1 night and 2 days, and it was a good experience. The room was clean and comfortable, with a small balcony, a double bed with a blanket, chairs, a table, side table, wardrobe, AC, and a TV with dish connection. The bathroom was okay too, with towel, soap, shampoo, and even hair oil. They could improve cleanliness a bit more, especially in the balcony and wardrobe areas. Breakfast was served in the room at a small cost, which was very useful. There is an AC Bar on the ground floor and a Rooftop Bar on top. They serve drinks, snacks, and food at good prices — a nice place to relax. There is also a Spa Center on the 3rd floor. If you come by car, parking is not a problem, as they have enough space. The best part of my stay was the friendly and helpful staff — the person at the reception, the security, and the service staff were all polite and made me feel welcome. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and budget-friendly place in the center of Palakkad.

Compared to other budget hotels, this hotel seems very good with neat and clean room and toilets. Room service was also attended very nicely. Right from reception to security guards were very kind in answering our query.

I founded this room by searching randomly from make my trip app. They offer good service and room was neat and clean.

Accommodation is not a problem. We don't have to like the surroundings of this hotel and the place we come into.

I didn't get my gst bill from property so there is no communication with them. I asked them but noway to get gst bill from them

Location is at a good place. No restaurant at the property. Provided a single bath towel and bath soap for a group of 3 persons. Reception is at first floor. Lift starts from 1st floor only. Nobody helped to take the luggage to the room. Parking at the ground floor is not proper. It has damaged the bottom of my car.

Stayed one night, good and courteous staff and is the only highlight. Worth for a solo traveller to stay a night but pols ensure that don't have any food items from there.

The reception was perched on 1 st floor with difficulty in accessing. Gave me a smelly unclean 3 rd floor room the lift s rating only from floor 1. Shifted me to a clean similar room on 2 nd floor. The room is so tiny like a box cluttered with everything.

It's very bad experience

Excellent staff, very courteous, clean. Rooms and common areas are very clean. Hotel is located just 1 kilometer from the fort which is center of town. Decent price for budget travelers. Only issue is no lift from ground floor to 1st floor and rooms are located in 1, 2amd 3rd floors. 4. 5 out of 5 stars

Accessibility of the hotel is good; room was clean and food was also good. Improvement areas: someone is required for luggage transfers as reception is on first floor. Lift is available only from first floor. It is an inconvenience especially for people having more luggage. Bed spread, pillow, towels and toiletries can be better. These are to be changed/provided on a daily basis. Exhaust fan required in the washroom. Customer feedback is not taken at the time of check-out. These are some of my observations & suggestions.
