Nalanda Inn

I recently stayed at Nalanda Inn in Palakkad. The Nalanda Inn rooms were neat, clean, and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. However, the food experience was disappointing. The breakfast provided is limited to a ₹100 food coupon, and you have to pay extra for anything beyond that. The food quality was just average—nothing special, more of an “okay” experience. Overall, while the accommodation is clean and decent, the food policy and quality could definitely use improvement. Good place to stay if you’re not relying heavily on the in-house dining.

The room was neat, clean, and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. However, the free breakfast was disappointing — they only provide a ₹100 coupon, and it has to be used at a different Nalanda Inn nearby. This was inconvenient and not what I expected.

Very comfortable stay. Extremely courtious and helpful staff with pleasant manners. Food service was okay, though it had to come from their own unit outside of the Nalanda Inn premises. Overall a good budget friendly Nalanda Inn.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast spread was excellent. I would definitely stay here again!"

We stayed for 2 days in Standard AC room. The room is spacious. The bathroom was clean.. Hot water was available for bathing throughout the day. The staff are polite and courteous. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
