Nalanda Inn

The overall stay was very good. The food was delicious, and the room and ambience were nice and comfortable. They also provided basic toiletries, and the TV worked perfectly. The only issue we faced was that the water heater didn’t work in our room, but the receptionist quickly arranged another room for us to take a bath. Appreciate the prompt help.

Average. prefer to go with AC rooms. non AC rooms they will give the old building which is different from the actual images shown. Rooms and bathroom are clean but it's an old building.

In amenities they say they provide iron box, in the morning I ask iron box they said not available. And show me a nearest ironing shop. AC is terrible.

The rooms are clean and good and the lunch, breakfast, dinner and service by the barrers is good.

They shows the photos of nalanda inn but they gaves non ac rooms in another property that was in poor condition and congested rooms with no maintenance also has lots of mosquitoes. Staff's behavior also pathetic.

I recently stayed at Nalanda Inn in Palakkad. The hotel rooms were neat, clean, and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. However, the food experience was disappointing. The breakfast provided is limited to a ₹100 food coupon, and you have to pay extra for anything beyond that. The food quality was just average—nothing special, more of an “okay” experience. Overall, while the accommodation is clean and decent, the food policy and quality could definitely use improvement. Good place to stay if you’re not relying heavily on the in-house dining.

it was an intermediate stay on way to ooty.. so ovrrall gud choice for those who traveling plac3s like ooty/Coorg/Bangalore from South kerala to take a intermediate stay
