Review Of Shivanchal Homestay

To be honest this was one of the best stay experiences for me. The hospitality they give you is so amazing and this place very very affordable. Staff is also very humble and help you with all while you are in shimla . So take my advise book this right now. I am from maharashtra so this is definitely not a paid review.

the hotel location is best, 20 mins drive to Mall road, food is awesome and at very reasonable price, hotel view is fantastic, i only booked this hotel for 1 day but after these things I stayed here for 1 more day. at last I want to say I am very happy from hotel and there staffs.

Very bad experience, no water available, no wifi available, no umberela available, no cleaning, total money if lost

I visit there with my gf and room was not clean and bad-sheet and pillow cover was also dirty there was mosquito on bedsheet and the room was full from dust and i was too far from mall road if you dont have any vecial so you have to face difficult to there from mall road because there was not street light on roads.

No facilities provided by the manager even drinking water not done warm by the service person. Beds were not provided as per mention in booking. Rooms are not properly cleaned. Rooms are small as shown in pictures. Service boy behave is good but obviously he's in pressure of manager. Charges extra 2000 for extra mattress only instead of single bed. One room geyser is not working. We were booked for our ease but we face irritations during the stay. looks into to improve.

The care taker was good, he has a great knowledge hote to give special treatment to the guest, polite behavior, and many things

Hotel rooms space and view is good but location is remote location you have to change two bus to reach old shimla bus stand. One bus from property to state bank and then from state bank to old shimla bus stand. Although food can be available at property but quality and hygiene is poor. I ordered rice and dal but dal was half cooked. You did not get good food at near by location of this home stay. And no night life from this hotel due to remote location. If you are coming with your own vehicle then you can consider this, otherwise my suggestion to take hotel near by mall road or which have direct connectivity for old bus stand.

Stay is average, but it is too far from centre and road is very bad.

Most poor service in make my trip they didn't co-operate but they denied 1st it's not ours service it's a very bad and hectic service in my life they denied from all the service and room is ugly and bad there is no service in the name of doing stay i am frustrated due to this whole night

Honestly has not provide nay food they don't have cook

First thing is property is far from the main shimla city (8kms from shimla old bus stand) and it is very difficult to get the cabs to that place for less amount it will charge 500rs from shimla to homestay. But the location of the homestay is very peaceful and near to bus stop (but you need to take multiple buses to reach mall road and new bus stand) view from the balcony is good. Finally this homestay is good for backpackers who wants to stay in there budget.

Food was good. Host hospitality was cherisable

Hotel is good for stay. Staff are so friendly. Their behavior was so nice that you will fall in love with them. Room size is average. Food quality and taste was so good. Only drawback is that the commode does not have hand spray or jet spray to clean your back. You will find very difficulty to wash yourself.
