Review Of Shelter Inn Homestay

Review: Experience was terrible. I have booked through MMT and paid full in advance. But upon reaching they denied online booking. They have already booked the room through offline mode. It was approx 8.30 pm when we reach hotel. They asked to cancel the booking and search for new hotel at that time. After 1 hour of arguing, we then requesting the staff to provide room. Meanwhile we tried to contact the owner, owner refuses to take our calls and he switch off his mobile. Then the staff provide room somehow by extra metress and pillow. Food : they didn’t provide asked to ordered from outside. Location: fair. Room and bathroom was not clean provide unheigenic bedsheets and blanket.

Why is this hotel listed on MakeMyTrip 's portal when they no longer accept online reservations I made the reservation a night before my stay, paid in full in advance. Yet when I reached, the in charge told me that they don't accept online reservations Somehow they let me stay. Nothing in the name of service The receptionist; I have no words to say. No one expects to go through this specially after making the payment. Next im led into a room with stale bedsheet and pillow cover. He just sprays a room freshener and that's all to it. There is no room service available either. The telephone does not have the receptions phone no either. IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY THEN PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE. they charged the right room tariff but i for sure know there are several better properties with better service and hospitality than this unkept inn.
