Good location for crowd free life inside shillong town. Safe and peaceful. Never tried food. Hospitality was best. Thanks to the host for creating a good atmosphere

The rooms and bathroom were very clean. The caretakers and owner are very kind, helpful and nice people. The breakfast was very tasty and prepared with love. Fyi - The common area leading to rooms is low in height so if you want to spend a lot of time in the room it can get annoying to move around. The road access to the homestay is pretty small and we need to be careful, although we were able to get innova up to the homestay.

I have booked a room for a day but unfortunately i have booked for wrong dates and asking if they changed the dates they denied and also didn’t give the money back. They kept the whole booking. Sadly it wasn’t about the money but if they want the customer to be happy they should have atleast return the payment back.

Good room, dinning space, bathroom, kitchen space, available in good condition. Behavior of aunty is very polite, we have also done our dinner made by them.

It is a homestay so i had to ring the bell and wait for 5 mins for my check-in. The room was cold & room size was small for the couple with a kid. Breakfast was lite with 5 slices of bread toast, 5 boiled eggs, 3 banana and tea. Location is slightly far from the city center and the tourist car might find it difficult to reach the homestay. The washroom was good. Electronics were working fine, geyser, kettle but the tv was without recharge as usual. The owner was welcoming and ready to help. The homestay staff are available during the stay. Overall i would say it is ok to stay if you want a stay in that location.

Neat & clean, hospitable, good food

Room is decorated very well, but it’s just on process, so you can find rough floor and almost all things are under construction. But it near to police bazar and the area where this stay is mindblowing. During early morning you can see sun-rising from the balcony. Overall my experience is pretty good. Owner is also very nicely spoke to us everything.

Good to stay with family, home made food, helpful staff but our rooms are small, though neat and clean. Pleasant to stay.

This home stay location is very nice place peace and silent the gesture of staff and owner is very good and friendly specially food is very nice. i personal recommend you this home stay feel like home 😊.

Very safe, very friendly owners, very clean, very comfortable, nearby neha which means that you can reach neha without getting stuck in the famous shillong traffic. Surely recomend.

The place is located in a peaceful location. Good place for traveller who are coming to explore the city and outskirts.

We were more like a guest and treated like one and they were very good host. We talked with the owner like good friends and had a very beautiful dinner. Best wishes to the host couple!

In a simple way its a home away from home. Mr. Mrinal thanks much for your friendly behaviour and keeping me with hygiene. Food was really love it. It's just like my home made food.

I had booked this homestay for 3 nights. The rooms were excellent. The food provided was home made and tasty and also in good quantities. The behaviour of the staff was cordial and fantastic.

First of all the road leading to the house was very very narrow. When we reached there we saw two very small rooms allotted to us which had no ventilation. I ordered food from outside and had to go a considerable distance in car to buy liquor. I thought it has a terrace where i can enjoy my drink. But the terrace was an apology of a balcony. It had a canopy and i was just surrounded by mosquitoes as there is a drain passing by. The warm water was not there. Had to tell them and then they made arrangement for central geyser. Now it was too hot at night and no ventilation and adding to that there was no electricity to charge phone and fan was not working. We fled the next day. One day payment went to waste

Stay was awesome, dinner and breakfast was awesome.

I stayed at mica homestay for 2 nights 6th and 7th jun e 2023. We were we'll received by the host mr mrinal himself. I had my own reservations about staying in a homestay but the hospitality the host provided allayed all wrong notions. We were treated like family, provided a large room with clean bathrooms and other essentials. They took our orders for dinner and breakfast, we being vegetarians they took extra care for our food. They were very reasonable in the pricing as well. The downside was only 2 things one some civil construction was going on because of which there are some man and material movements and secondly when it is raining heavily water gets flooded outside of the homestay leading to the road. Overall our stay with them is quite satisfactory.

The homestay is very hard to locate. No indicators are available. You have to really work hard to locate it, if travel-ling for the first time. Food is great, home cooked. The lady in charge of food is really humble and professional. The manager is unprofessional and only sweet talk.

The property was suitable and the owners of the property were helpful too. The location of the property is also close to the primary market. But the price of the room was a bit high.
