This was a horrible experience. The place is very poorly maintained, and the staff have no etiquette or professionalism in dealing with customers. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I had a bad experience with this hostel. Very small dorms, no water, dust all over with more and more unhygienic conditions.

Great experience at shalom backpackers rishikesh.
Everything was perfect. The room was hygienic. The food at the cafeteria was delicious. The view from the terrace has a good ganga view. The hosts Ankit & Harsh were helpful and friendly too. The overall experience at shalom backpackers was amazing. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is coming to rishikesh.

Excellent Stay
The location is perfect, walkable distance to the main road (National Highway 7). A few steps away from Laxman Jhula. Location wise it is perfect. Food is also reasonable and good. They have good options on their menu. The TT table is a fun addition. The terrace and the balconies are open all the time. You can simply sit and enjoy the view. Service is also impeccable, the staff are very kind and helpful. Cleanliness is maintained all the time and they are strict about it as well. Most importantly what makes this property the best is the view it offers. Clear and Instagram worthy view of River Ganga!. If you are a solo traveller like me, just go ahead and stay in this property.
