Had a great stay at Roop Tara Valley
It's a wonderful place. The view outside is absolutely amazing Himalaya ranges clearly visible. The services provided by hotel staffs are good and very customised. Food was also great. The owner Mr. Hari Singh is a nice and courteous person.

Terrible stay at Roop Tara Valley
I stayed with my family for one night. It was extremely difficult to locate the actual location as it was at a very very low and anytime your car may slip off the narrow tortuous road. The rooms were just okay. The window panes, bathroom doors don't shut properly and you can't lock them. Very ill-maintained. The food was moderate however, they would not provide you a room heater in working condition, not help in solving malfunctions in the very amenities. I had a horrifying experience during our one night stay at 1-degree celsius with my 11 years old kid who could not sleep for the entire night! Please please never go for this worthless homestay.

Dear sir we are extremely sorry for your bad experience. Sir our most of the guest are reaching in Rooptara Valley using Google map still for our all guest Mr Har Singh come himself on the Road to receive them. Sir it is a resort which usually away from market. Sir everyone has its own way to enjoy and give review. Sir you must knew that on the same day two more families were staying there (Mr Varun Gupta and Mr Ashok (who was a Bangali like you) and they enjoyed their stay and gave a great review. You only said that it was nice place many more Bengali wish to come here. You only appreciated the food and our cook Mr Ramesh. Any how sir we will take your review and take it positively for better service.
It was an average experience
familyOverall it was a nice stay. Everything was good during my stay. Location was easy, their staff was also helping us to reach as they came to the main Road to pick up. The room was very good and comfortable. But they need to improve their cleanliness. I did have tried their food and it was also good in taste.

Excellent place for a quick getaway.
People at the resort are so well behaved and helpful that you would think of the place as your own. Plus the people around you are always up for a good conversation like a family. And, oh god! How can I not talk about food. The food was so good it made us skip eating outside because the caretaker Ramesh was always like a mother after every meal what you want for next meal. We shared drinks talked about their families our families. My god I just loved the place. Also, please don't fall into the trap of cab drivers in Nainital. You can very easily commute to majkhali using public transport. Will cost you 10 times less without much hassle.

Excellent stay
groupWords are too less to explain about the stay and everything was really perfect! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I wish to come here only on my every visit to Ranikhet.

Nice and quiet place away from the City ruckus
Roop Tara Valley is located around 10 km from the main city. It is a peaceful location away from the city ruck us with good amenities. I visited with my family for two days and the hospitality extended by the owners was great. Room was clean and spacious, food although priced a little higher was clean and tasty and the overall experience was amazing. Its a must visit if you are looking for a break from your daily hustle.

Great views from the hotel. Peaceful and calm location amidst jungle. Very humble and caring staff. Mouth watering food. Clean rooms with all facilities. Highly recommended for all to stay
