Location of the resort was the best part of the entire stay. Insofar as food is concerned breakfast had a variety, whereas the food offered in dinner was not of the highest taste. Overall cleanliness was good. The bed needs up gradation. Staff at the resort were courteous. Will certainly recommend others to visit this property.

View is good. Can watch both sunrise and sunset. Staff is polite and courteous. Food needs more options. Can't eat poha and pakora everyday. Far away from main Ranikhet town. But you can get shared rides from the main road. Lonely during off season. Overall a good option.
The stay was wonderful. Nice view from the resort, Resort is very clean and spacious. Food quality is very good and resort provides you with ample option in its buffet. Staff is very polite and service is very quick. Perhaps this is the best resort in the locality.

What a great holiday! Our stay at Woodsvilla Resort, Ranikhtet was very comfortable and nice. The rooms were spacious and with clean toilets and bathrooms which have been recently renovated. The bed was neat and comfortable. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and never uttered a no for an answer. The effervescent smiles on their faces all through suggested that they care for the guests. They actually did. The biscuit platter served in the room every evening with the evening service was tastefully done. The icing on the cake was the attitude of the serving staff in the restaurant which is reasonably priced. The serving staff and the chefs make you feel at home.

Great place for a weekend break, great location with a view of Himalayas but unfortunately could not get a clear view due to a lot of cloud cover. The rooms are great with lots of natural light. Service was good, food was good but there should be more options and buffet can be improved. An advice to travellers would be to travel in the month when the Himalaya's are visible certainly not early September end. Overall a great experience, highly recommended.
