Property overall must say a splendid and wonderful stay. All the basic amenities are available. Rooms are well cleaned, well decorated. 24hours hot and cold waters available in the washroom, electricity back ups, and amazing rooftop dining space with delicious and tasty menus. You will never miss the splendid Himalayan peaks views right from the dining as well as from the room balconys alongwith the scenic ranikhet greenery hills. Every person must atleast try this hotel once while planning to stay in ranikhet. Although it is just few kms away from the ranikhet military regiment or the gold course but you can check in to this hotel with no regrets. Last but not the least, Amit and Hemant are so well behaved supporting staffs who cooperated everytime during our stays. They are actually polite and always at your room service. I would give 5 out of 5 to the hotel and love to be here again. Thank you

It was a beautiful experience with Stonewood as the services and the staff were very humble and cooperative. Hotel location was very peaceful with beautiful view of mountain. Food was good. All the amenities were available in the room.

The team is good. Overall people are very caring and food is also good, but I didn't like the cleanliness of the place at all. That is a big concern. The proper is quite old and hygiene is a big issue because bedsheet and cushions and sofa. Everything is really really in a bad condition. It was very difficult frankly to sleep on a bed because the battery wasn't clean at all. So like for a person like me who is very much into hygiene. It was very difficult. Otherwise everything is fine. The place is good, but then old property very dusty dust is there all over it's not maintained and clean properly. Doors are very old. So overall I'll see. It's like kind of an experience and I can just give 22 star to this Property.

The stay was extremely pleasant. Spacious and clean room, all amenities in place, great place for restaurant and excellent balcony and terrace view. Staff was always prompt and considerate. Very happy with the stay.

Review of stonewood villa, ranikhet (stay from 27th to 28th january) property & parking: the property is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers ample parking space. The serene surroundings and scenic views were a highlight of our stay. Staff & service: the hotel staff was welcoming but lacked proactiveness. We arrived around 5 pm after a challenging journey through narrow roads, which caused motion sickness and uneasiness for our group. However, no one from the staff inquired about our delay or well-being, which was disappointing. Room upgrade: the hotel manager was kind enough to upgrade our room from deluxe to the oak family room with a balcony and bunker beds. This was a thoughtful gesture, and our children enjoyed playing in the spacious room. Food & dining experience: the dining experience was a letdown. Due to low occupancy, the hotel offered a limited menu with no tandoor options (snacks or roti, which was a major disappointment for our group. Additionally, we were charged for baby food (khichdi and dalia, unlike other hotels that typically provide such items complimentary. After dinner, i fell ill, possibly due to the food quality, and had to seek medical attention at midnight. The hotel manager was helpful in arranging medicines the next morning, which we appreciated. Rooms & cleanliness: the rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, offering a pleasant stay. Location & accessibility: ranikhet, being a heavy cantonment area controlled by the army, has limited accessibility for tourists. There isn’t much to explore, which made the trip less enjoyable. We regretted choosing ranikhet as a destination. Overall experience: while the property and rooms were great, the lack of proactive service, limited dining options, and the overall inaccessibility of ranikhet made the trip underwhelming. The hotel has potential but needs to improve its hospitality and dining offerings to enhance guest experiences. Regards, neeraj.

The hotel offers a spectacular view of the himalayan range. The rooms are spacious and the service is excellent. Staff is very friendly & polite. While the food is decent, there is room for improvement, especially with the chinese cuisine, which was disappointing. Additionally, the bathrooms could use shower curtains and the room heaters need significant improvement.

It was a simply awesome stay. The rooms are neat and clean and spacious. The view from the window is simply breathtaking - the whole mountain range and the stunning shades green all around. Hospitality is so warm that it feels like home! All the local pahadi food recipes are mouth watering! On the whole, it was a memorable trip. We will definitely visit this place again👍

Food they provided was not fresh and they were unable to provide buffet breakfast and also their restaurant was on 5th floor and without lift. Overall room and hotel was not worth for the amount i paid.

I will keep it short. Location: excellent with a beautiful himalayan view from the terrace. Rooms (spl in 2nd and 3rd floor: well designed with a beautiful view of the hill range from the balcony. Food: desi or pahadi cuisine is delicious here, pl don't ask for chinese or any other cuisines. Staff members: extremely helpful and polite. They gave us a good experience. This property is right on the majkhali road, so you won't have any issues reaching this place. I felt it's a value for money property. Pl don't expect a high end hotel, it's a decent hotel with amazing view, food and staff.

The location is good and so are the views.. The rooms are good too with proper cleanliness.. Two things that need attention 1. The curtains used is very cheap and let's the sun in at all the times so couldnt sleep these needs to de replaced as it's quite uncomfortable with sun coming in 2. The mattresses arent too good and uncomfortable Apart from this all other amenities and hotel itself is great

The place is great. The rooms are spacious and have a premium feel. The management and room service was also good. We had dinner and lunch in the restaurant which was also good. Things which can be improved - wifi speed breakfast spread. We had limited options

Location of property is nice terrace view is awesome but breakfast menu should be more vast. Very limited items were there secondly property was bit smelly near reception and restaurant rest everything was nice staff was very good
