Review Of Shivani Foods and Resort

Location was very good. Food was good. Staff was very good and also service. But overall experience was not good. Poor Lighting was observed specially in the restaurant entry stairs. My wife had fallen and badly injured. All the stairs edges should be marked with florescent tape. Also First aid kit was not available , may be due to Holi. But Going forward these should be corrected , so other person will not face such issues in future. I am not raising complain ,should also take care compliance issue for all the registered hotel.

The perfect place from which to stay ranikhet shivani hotel very comfortable and warm room. Plenty of electric sockets to charge my devices and work with my laptop. Great tv and really excellent hot shower, so easy to use. Friendly staff and fantastic breakfasts. I will certainly be back.

Staff is very less, one person for every thing including toilet cleaning to serving food. Property is new & good.

The rooms are pretty large, clean, and easily accessible. The food was excellent. Also, the views from the hotel are great. I recommend this hotel for your stay at ranikhet (although this hotel is a couple of kilometres outside ranikhet.

Extremely poor condition of the room. It was hostel and not the proper room as per any standard hotel of same category. Food quality was extremely bad, no hygiene, no taste, no standard recipe with extremely high prices. They gave us fried pane-er when we asked pane-er 65 recipes. Soup was like salty hot water. They are running college and same student room they are putting on rent as hotel. Full waste of money with no class of service. If you want your site to grow please remove such no class hotel from your site. No proper light in the room. Only night bubla were there. I wish i could get refund for no proper help at the hotel as well from mmt if possible please refund my money

The staff was very helpful and polite. The rooms were clean and maintained. The food was also tasty.

We went as a family last weekend to Shivani Foods and Resorts and were welcomed with the delicious local drink, by the manager and hotel staff. They had also upgraded us to a better room (we had booked an executive room) and the view from our room was simply spectacular. It overlooked the misty mountains and the beautiful yellow flowering tree in the hotel. The cook deserves all the praise as every item that we tried was yummy -from egg bhurji at breakfast to grilled chicken sandwiches and pakoras for snacks or the tasty kumaoni mutton curry, chicken fried rice and chilly chicken. I loved their chicken soup. The property is on the road and about 9 km from proper Ranikhet, with ample space for parking. It's a beautiful, peaceful spot. The famous Kumaon army regimental centre is very nearby and great to pick up local jams, fruit juices and woollens from the war widows rehab centre (krc rehab centre. Really want to thank the staff, especially the young manager, who was very polite, helpful and cooperative. We were very well looked after during our 4-day stay. Our driver was also given a place to sleep within the resort. If you want to relax and enjoy some days of peace and quiet, then Shivani Food and Resorts should not be missed. Away from the noisy tourists, it is a haven of quiet and beauty.

The picture posted are the only few rooms - i guess total 5 which are ready - the rest of the property is still under construction. Small rooms. The staff is untrained. No buffet. Absolutely no food choices. No fridge in the room. The fan was very noisy. No ventilation in the room. The room with view are very small, no balcony at all.

Location is very beautiful. Food was very tasty. Services were excellent with hygiene and sefty.

Everything is perfect proper safety measures followed by hotel staff.. property is located at an excellent location you will fall in love with the outside area. Property Manager Mr. Sarvesh Shah is quite helpful and experienced. We enjoyed our stay a lot 🙂

Decent location, good rooms, food average

It was very pleasant. I would rate 10 out of 10 for this hotel, food and staff behavior.

Experience was the best to stay in this hotel. Staff is very cooperative and hotel facilities are good. Structure and rooms were very good. Clean washrooms. Good lobby and very close to all locations in Ranikhet. Specially Dhikona water fall.

Location of the hotel is very good. The view from the room is worth every penny. Staff is very helpful, and they even help you book the taxi for sight seeing. Food is good. You get free Wi-Fi and 24×7 running hot water. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you visit Ranikhet. Value for money.

I was travelling with on my way back from somewhere and it was okay for a night stay. Staff was nice and cooperative. Room and bathroom were spacious and clean, but amenities were not upto the mark. Noteworthy thing was the way they dealt the situation in the absence of manager when I wanted invoice. This took some time in which the hotel staff served me tea and snacks while I was waiting. They were empathizing for the delay. They even served food to my driver free of charge and didn't took any money on insistence also.
