Review Of ROOPKATHA HOTEL KALIMPONG

The hotel is having severe issues of mismanagement. We have been harassed at the time of check in, they didn't agree to provide us the rooms we booked and paid for, after arguing with them they provided the rooms. The in-house restaurant that they have, is serving pathetic quality overpriced food. The only good thing about this hotel is the view from the window. So, to sum it up we, will never advise anyone to book this hotel.

All things are very good. Accommodation, food, and bathroom are good. Behaviours of all staffs are excellent.

Room was clean and all staffs are well behaved, outside view from the room was just fabulous

Location is good, but it has no kitchen they can't offer a cup of tea

Makemytrip has no control. Wants to book orders on false promises. There were no food, dining facility, not even drinking water room service, no staff available, no intercom, no tv working, nothing available except bare room. Hotel owner says, they had withdrawn catering services long back but makemytrip has continued to purposely put wrong information without our knowledge. After our complaint, owner took up strongly with makemytrip and got it corrected and reduced the price. Our trip has been spoiled by makemytrip.

The room was clean and spacious. I especially like to mention the behaviour of mr. Anmol tamang. He is such a cooperative and helpful person. Love to satya again.

I stayed in roopkatha, staffs are very helping and the sunrise view is mesmerizing. A must stay at such low price
