Nice Stay.
All were good except few services like TV, phone etc weren't working properly during stay even after repeated asks and temporary fixes for short notice. Hotel should make sure to run such kind of services hassle-free to keep guests happy and relaxed during the stay.

Average Stay
Apart from mattress the floor, the curtains all the walls are filled with dust, the room is so small you will feel suffocated at night. Terrible experience.

Stay away, No value for mo
I stayed at Mount Polaris hotel for one night. Even though the staff and service is cordial, the facility is definitely not worth the price they charge. None of the aspects of this hotel should command such a price premium - location is below average with no views, rooms are below average, the side sofa is dirty, beds are okish, no toileteries at all, bathroom has a weird stink probably due to backdraft from drainage, whole area including reception has lot of house flies, no room upgrade as promised by MMT (no availability I was told), no welcome drink as promised by MMT (I didn't even ask), we arrived at the property at 1:20 PM and we were made to wait till 2 PM as room was not ready (early checkin promised during booking, but again, no availability). Overall, I definitely think this property is not value for money. Added to the fact that Kalimpong as a location does not have anything great to offer, journey to this city was a complete let down!

It's not value for mone
The room I booked was a standard room for Rs 2292 for one night on 24.04.2025. The price seemed quite on the higher side, since it was a tourist season I decided to go for it. It was a standard room without a view as expected. The size of the room was quite small. It had a bed, and a dressing mirror. There was no chair or study table. The bed linen had stain on it. I asked for the room slippers which they provides. The television was not working so due to non recharge of the cable. I asked the house keeping to fix it and she politely said she would do fix it, but it was not done. I do understand that she cannot recharge the cable connection, unless approved by her superior. The taps were leaking and to top it all there was no ventilation in the room. The windows were just above the bed and was covered with thick unmovable drapes. I do not consider it a value for money. Pros: The property is located on just beside the main road. It has a dominos outlet at the ground floor and a Bhutanese cuisine Restaurant just across the street. The main Kalimpong is just a 500 meters away. The staffs are courteous and helpful. if you are planning to stay in Kalimpong in this budget I would not recommend the standard room of this hotel. It's better to try other properties for this budget.

overall it was an Ok stay. we stayed on the 3rd floor and the property was not having any lift. rooms are big but cleanliness needs to be maintained for the floor and washroom. restaurant food was good and tasty

Excellent place for Family with Spacious rooms
Mount Polaris is a great choice in my Trip. Spacious rooms with good view of the valley and mountains. Received good support from the Front office staffs for the stay and local tour guidance. Food is very good, breakfast got good options for South Indian, the restaurant staffs and the Chef were very co-operative in meeting our needs with two little kids.

worst stay in kalingpong
This is the worst hotel I have ever been to. Would never go to this property again. Hotel managers and staffs all are non co-operative.worst food and service. Max rooms were vacant and hardly any staffs in the hotel.

Good Stay
Mt Polaris Suites & Spa, has a good location. It was a nice stay, although their room size was pretty small. While booking it was written as 225sq ft, room size was actually 100sq ft. Reception & Housekeeping services were great! Most of the food items ordered weren't available so we had to eat from outside, that's the only negative. Would definetly recommend one to stay here at Kalimpong!

pretty decent stay and quite good food

coupleI had a disappointing experience during my stay at this hotel. The geyser in my initial room wasn’t working, and despite informing the hotel management, their response was poor. They assured me it would be fixed within five minutes, but no one showed up for over an hour. Eventually, they asked for the room keys, promising to fix it while I was out. When I returned a few hours later, nothing had been resolved. They then moved me to a different room, but it was a complete letdown — dirty and poorly maintained. The lack of cleanliness was unacceptable and made for an uncomfortable stay. The overall service and maintenance standards were far below expectations. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel based on my experience.
