Red Crab Beach Resort is a wonderful place to stay, located right beside the sea. The rooms offer clear, beautiful views of the beach — waking up to the sound of waves and an open sea view is a delight. The beach here feels untouched and peaceful, with very few visitors, giving it a truly “virgin” charm. It’s also one of the few places where the indigenous Jhau bon (Casuarina trees) still exist, adding to its natural beauty.
We stayed in a room for four, which had two double beds — spacious, clean, and comfortable for a family or small group. The resort is a bit far from the main market, but that’s exactly what keeps it quiet and secluded — perfect for those looking to relax away from the crowd.
The food was decent and the service good. Since it’s a relatively new property, there’s room for improvement, but the staff’s warm behavior and attentiveness make you feel valued. Debsankar deserves a special mention for taking care of everything and handling all our small needs so well.
Do note that the food might take a little longer than usual to arrive, as everything is freshly prepared from scratch.
Overall, a peaceful, scenic, and friendly beachside retreat — ideal for anyone who wants to unwind by the sea.
