Okayish Stay
Small Rooms. Pungent smell in the corridor. Food is good kamat legacy is continued. Receptionstaff is friendly.

It's a good hotel. The staff is humble. It has a nice restaurant. The food is good. The location is close to the railway station. Overall a good stay.

Room cleanliness was poor. towels provided was full of fluff. not at a value fir money these people are charging.

Poor Management
I recently had a stay at VITS Purple Beds located nearby Surat railway station. The experience was very bad and very disappointing. Other than from clean linens, nothing was good about the rooms. Paint wearing off from walls, below average bathrooms, issues with AC and what not. The worst part of the stay was the breakfast. It was 08:20 a.m. and still the breakfast counter was having just bread & butter and fruits. Upon asking the manager, a very casual reply was given mentioning that all the 3 chefs came late. People prefer nearby hotels so that they can complete their official work on time and for a quick commute. This was not acceptable specially when the hotel charges a separate fee for it!! But the fact is that the hotel DOES NOT EVEN HAVE BUTTER!! Absolutely rubbish!! The management at the hotel is serving fat spread!! Upon asking for butter, I was clearly denied and informed that we do not serve butter. Not at all acceptable from a brand like Kamat!! Note that I have stayed at VITS Shalimar located in Ankleshwar and the experience between the Surat and Ankleshwar hotel is totally opposite.

Location is the prime thing about this property. 350 Mtr. walk from Railway station is more than a Luxury and saves Taxi charges and valuable Time. A class apart service is also beyond the Lovely food Quality. Mid night meals availability is also good facility. 60Rs. auto/cab can make you reach Bombay Market/Chaota Bazar and other shopping Destinations.

Average Stay
Property is near to the station, that's a plus point. Rooms are very small and most of the rooms do not have a balcony for light. If you take only a hot shower, make sure you bath in the morning coz you don't get hot water in the evening. Breakfast was decent.

so they use to cut electricity by midnight without any information. Their receptionist argued when people asked to fix the issue at 04:00 am. They said no electricity cut, but when many people woke up, they turn on the light. They control AC from outside, and the remote inside room is just a play remote. AC doesn't cool the room there. Breakfast was good. If I will rate this hotel as per cost that is around 2500, it would be hardly 1.5/5 I have given 1.5 just for breakfast, for hotel services it is 0/ so they use to cut electricity by midnight without any information.
