Location is ok, food is pure Veg. no non veg is served in the restaurent. fod options available are not great. rooms are small but ok for a short trip. it would be good if they provided a good chair to use the table especially if you are on a buisness trip and need to use the desk. they dont have a char for that.

Honest Feedback from a Guest in Need

I stayed at Ramee International Surat on an unplanned late-night check-in around 12 AM, after returning from my hometown and realizing I had forgotten my house keys. My wife, who is 6 months pregnant, needed a safe and comfortable place to rest, so I chose Ramee expecting a smooth experience from a reputed 4-star hotel. The property itself is well-maintained, clean, and located in a convenient area. The room we stayed in (booked via MakeMyTrip) was decent, though smaller than expected, with twin beds instead of a double. It was comfortable enough for the night, and I appreciate that we had a reliable space to stay at short notice. However, I did encounter some confusing and disappointing moments during booking. When I called the hotel directly, I was told only deluxe rooms were available for ₹6K–₹7K, and when I asked why online prices were lower, I was told, “Then book online.” I found this response dismissive, especially at midnight with a pregnant guest involved. Interestingly, once I checked online, I was easily able to book a room so clearly, standard rooms were still available. The lobby appeared mostly empty at that hour, which made the “fully booked” explanation feel like a sales tactic rather than the truth. While I understand business logic behind pricing strategies, a little empathy and clarity from the reception team would go a long way in creating a better guest experience. Overall, the stay was satisfactory, but the booking experience could definitely be improved—especially in how staff communicate with guests in sensitive situations. Rating: 3.5/5 Would I stay again? Possibly, but I’d book online without bothering to call.
