We were 3 person booking, one couple plus one single. But we were given only two single beds. Although we were only couple at time of check-in, they didn't give me a queen or king bed room. It was very poor service.

Poor Management

I recently had a stay at VITS Purple Beds located nearby Surat railway station. The experience was very bad and very disappointing. Other than from clean linens, nothing was good about the rooms. Paint wearing off from walls, below average bathrooms, issues with AC and what not. The worst part of the stay was the breakfast. It was 08:20 a.m. and still the breakfast counter was having just bread & butter and fruits. Upon asking the manager, a very casual reply was given mentioning that all the 3 chefs came late. People prefer nearby hotels so that they can complete their official work on time and for a quick commute. This was not acceptable specially when the hotel charges a separate fee for it!! But the fact is that the hotel DOES NOT EVEN HAVE BUTTER!! Absolutely rubbish!! The management at the hotel is serving fat spread!! Upon asking for butter, I was clearly denied and informed that we do not serve butter. Not at all acceptable from a brand like Kamat!! Note that I have stayed at VITS Shalimar located in Ankleshwar and the experience between the Surat and Ankleshwar hotel is totally opposite.

Location is the prime thing about this property. 350 Mtr. walk from Railway station is more than a Luxury and saves Taxi charges and valuable Time. A class apart service is also beyond the Lovely food Quality. Property is near to the station, that's a plus point. Rooms are very small and most of the rooms do not have a balcony for light. If you take only a hot shower, make sure you bath in the morning coz you don't get hot water in the evening. Breakfast was decent.
