1. Rooms are accommodate only two persons not more than that. 2. Sr.citizens may avoid this property because location not at per of them. 3. Food prepared by Sri Sujit Das is beyond excellent. 4. 1. Room can accomodate 3 pax. 2. We have big platform steps leading to the property. Easily accessible by people of all age group. 6. I don't know what you are talking about. I guided you to the nearest landmark(Domino's Pizza, thana road). But your repeated calls and unable to understand a simple direction is quite something. I lastly had to station my staff near domino's for 10mins to wait for you. Have a good day sir.

Nice stay and feels like home. The behavior of the staff is very polite specially Sujit Das,his number is 9774944923. nice person and always helps us. Food is tasty. Alu paratha and chara macher jhol was too good. the uest house is in prime location in police bazar, Domino's and other outlets are just nearby. It was a nice stay I will recommend to our friends and family. Best wishes Puja guest house and Sujit Das. Date of stay 27.02.25 to 2.3.25.

The room was exactly the same as shown in the picture. They had provided us with all the basics necessary things. They have not recharged the dth connection of tv. Rest were good.

Worst place to stay in the winter

The bathroom was not designed properly and wasn't clean. There was no blanket provided to battle the 6°C temperature in Shillong. The room was freezing 24/7. No heater available.

Hello. Firstly, i do not understand what you meant by 'desined properly' of a bathroom. Before every arrival i personally check the room and bathroom if everything is clean or not. And it was clean. If you found it was not clean you could have asked my staff to clean it again. Secondly, there is a wardrobe in the room with two thick quilts. I don't know whether you opened the wardrobe or not. Heater is available at a charge which you did not even ask for or else we would have provided it.

Wonderful hospitality. The stay was comfortable and the caretaker was so helpful. The caretaker woke up late at night to open the gate as we were late because we attended the cherry blossom festival. Definitely recommend others.

Terrible Stay

it says “like a 3*” but inf-act it’s worse than a dormitory in a slum. The entrance to the place itself is a narrow dark back alley that looks nothing more than a drainage area between two building rows. The place itself has only 3 rooms on the ground floor. The rooms are small and dingy and no ventilation with no space for anything other than the bed. The caretaker and the owner are both rude and put time restrictions for entry at 10. 30 pm. They start calling from 9 pm and ask to report back as if its a hostel with strict restrictions. On arriving after 10. 30 pm the caretaker was extremely rude. Overall the stay was extremely bad, uncomfortable and also turned scary. Me and my partner literally felt like running away to protect ourselves from the savages running this kind of place.

Why did you not write that you vanished with your partner for more than 24hrs? No communication,nothing. We even filed a missing person report with the local police station only to know that you are in cherrapunjee. You did not have the decency to inform us that you will not be returning for the night. We were only concerned about your safety because you are our guest and in return you abused us. Wonderful! And for the gate timings, it is clearly mentioned in our page. You did not check that and later put the blame on us? We even gave you an hour extension on the gate timing still you did not come on time. Later when you came "drunk" u abused my manager. You were perhaps the worst possible guest we ever hosted. Foul mouthed, throwing tantrums, absolute disregard to the property's rules and regulations. From next time when you book a property go through the rules and regulations. Also you were very lucky we did not call the police on you for being abusive.

The place is not hygenic. Located in the ground floor, small room. Bathroom is uncleaned, you will get bad smell. Foods quality is also unsatisfactory looking at the price. However the best part is its location in the heart of the police bazar.
