Poor Stay
no window in the room, stained toilet, no food. Caretaker only understand and speak Tamil. Very difficult to communicate. No other person present in the property. Very bad experience.

wonderfull stay
its a excellent place to stay. view of entire coonoor from homestay was beautiful. Also we like the caretaker's kind gesture and his helping mind in every situations like travel, food and even he provided us tea at the perfect times. totally worth the money you pay.

Not recommended
very basic amenities were missing, you have to ask the caretaker for a towel, soap, water etc. the caretakers were old and not polite, they don't understand english, hindi language which gets difficult to communicate

Hi Shivam, First the photos posted by you seem of a railway station which is not appropriate Some random photos are posted. Sorry that you had to ask for towels and soap. We usually train our staffs to keep the basic amenities in the room before checkin, but since you had arrived before the checkin time of 1PM we had to rush the clean up to give you the room as early as possible to help you since you travelled with an infant, they might have forgot to place the towels in that hurry. But kindly note we did provide once you asked. About the language issue you mentioned, We do have a dedicated watsapp channel active for that. You could have just pinged on that for immediate support. We did check the help and suggestion section there was no message from you.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Staff were courteous and quick to assist whenever needed. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants.

Overall good experience.
Very good proximity, centre of coonoor, walkable from coonoor railway station. Covered car parking. Room was good with high speed wifi internet available. Hall, dining area and kitchen is also available.

Poor Stay
had to remain barefoot in the cold ooty weather as they do not allow footwear inside. Only solar geyser available which does not work at night and the water becomes really cold. There is a gymn just above the property and you get all kinds of loud noises right from early morning making it hard to sleep.

So sorry we did not meet your expectations Our hot water system is solar plus electric We have opted this system for energy conservation purposes While we do this for the environment we do not want to guests to have a sacrifice so we have a dual system of electric plus solar However it takes 20 to 25 mins after switching on the geyser for the water to get hot due to Cold climate. We do have a dedicated team to take your in-house queries and issues but there was nothing sent on that. i have found in MakeMyTrip.Services are not good, Bathroom not clean, and care taker brought extra money also.

Solid accommodation close to the train and bus
The building is spacious and our room and bathroom were clean. There was good wifi and 24/7 hot water. From the train and bus stations, it's either a 10 minute walk up the hill, or a very short auto ride. There is a caretaker on the grounds.

I have stayed with my friend for 1 day, location was calm and good, caretaker was nice man mr. Thangaraj, overall the stay was nice. Recommended for family stay.
