I had a pleasant stay at MPT Gateway Retreat. The booking and check-in process were excellent — smooth, quick, and handled by courteous staff. Truly memorable experience

Decent stay at MPT Sanchi. Rooms were clean & staff were polite, though service could be bit faster. The location was convenient & close to Sanchi Stupa & Museum and the in-house restaurant served delicious food with a good variety of options. Overall, it was a relaxing and pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend MPT Sanchi to anyone visiting Sanchi and look forward to returning in the future.

Average property. Overpriced.

Have booked this for family get together. It is an old but clean property. Rooms are well maintained, bathroom fittings were not upto the mark and towels had stains. Swimming pool was dirty and was not cleaned even after requesting, which was a huge disappointment. Food is below average and they take a lot of time to serve.The plus point is its proximity from Sanchi stupa and few staff members were courteous. Not worth the money I have paid but I believe Sanchi is a small place and we have limited options in that area.

Swimming pool was full of dead insects.The water was very dirty in pool.Room service was terrible. There was lot of water shortage in washroom

Very good location on main road close to Stupa area and station, nicely maintained property. Helpful staff and decent breafkfast buffet and food but limited options. Interior of rooms upgraded and maintained better. Complimentary toiletries are very good.

The hotel and services ar location is good

Everything was fine, food, drinks and other services there but the swimming pool etc. which was shown in their resort, we did not get this facility at all and whatever other facilities were there, we got very little of them.

A nice property very near to sanchi stupas. Food is good, though tandoor items were not available during our stay. The resort has reasonable open area within its campus and has good parking space along with nice little swimming pool and a small gym. The staff was courteous. Rooms have good space, though finish of the rooms are not upto the mark.

Property location is good, property is very old so not easy to maintain properly. Plumbing is very poor & faced very bad experience by unable to use wash room & huge wastage of water for > 4 hrs onwards! staff is very humble & remain humble to serve with limited resource availability. State govt/tourism to look in such valuable properties & allocate budget to well maintain.

Mpt gateway has the potential to be a great hotel. It has an excellent location close to sanchi stupa. The rooms were adequate. The restaurant and bar were nice though the service was slow despite there not being many guests. The staff were helpful in arranging an autorickshaw for us to see the stupas at sanchi, sonari and satdhara. I think that mpt gateway is a government owned hotel and like other government owned enterprises it can benefit from some additional investments.

soloThe mp t property at sanchi is located close to the stupas. It has some extra facilities like a gym, restaurant and bar as well. There is ample parking available. The rooms were spacious with all the amenities one would expect at this price. The staff is very well-behaved and attentive. The food in the restaurant is also good.

Shabby experience given the high standards of mp t hotels

familyOverall the rooms were quite damp and smelly. There was a plumbing problem in every bathroom which caused a lot of inconvenience. Please have more variety in the food. Ask your waiters to write down orders and be aware of what is available. The people at the reception were kind and tried to solve these issues but there wasn’t much they could do. Overall the hotel needs a revamp. Given our wonderful previous experiences at other mp t properties, our expectations were not quite met by gateway retreat.

Terrible Stay

The room smelled horrible the. Property was not well kept ac didn’t work well and the washrooms were filthy and unclean in all can’t stay there again. i stayed for a night but there was even a hair on the bad all the furniture was stale and was not good at all
