Very good location, food, preparation and facilities

Everything was fine but food was not good

Did a short 1 night trip to Morni hills, and believe me, it's the easiest hill station getaway nearest is. It's the only hill station of Haryana, at haryana himachal border, around 50 mins from Panchkula... We went alongwith my Chacha's family, it's a worth visit place. Only caution: don't be as adventurous as we were, it's a landslide prone ascent... We were lucky not to face any issues though, just day before entire day the road was blocked... Food was excellent and very reasonable, location of property is excellent..

location is perfect for Mountain View, Food is good , staff is good ,except 2 who were staring women making uncomfortable as a family ,also at night we can’t sleep because of continuous noise from side room of bottles ( of beers I noticed ) and loud noises typically of verbal arguments, otherwise all is good.

The Mountain Quail Resort run by the sarkari Haryana Tourism has a fantastic location on a hill facing the outer Shivaliks and Himachal Pradesh’s Sirmour district. At 1136.8 metres above sea level, the weather was pleasant, even in late April, when the North Indian plains were being ravaged by the scorching summer heat. All rooms at the resort overlook a valley and the distant hills and mountains. The rooms on the first floor offer nicer views and catch the mountain breeze better than the rooms at the lobby level. There are two categories of rooms: the suites and the deluxe rooms. My room was surprisingly clean and well appointed, with a study table and electric kettle. The washroom was clean, stocked with toilet paper and soap, and I could not complain about the quality of the towels given that this was a state-run unit. The only drawback of the room was that parts of the wall abutting the bathroom had paint peeling off courtesy water seepage. The property has an in-house bar and restaurant with a decent menu offering Indian and Chinese cuisine. I especially liked their Kadai Chicken which was flavourful and the chef was flexible enough to make it boneless at no extra charge. They also do room service at no extra charge. There’s ample parking (for at least 10-12 cars, and for those religiously inclined there is also an in-house temple adjacent to the car park. I must say that the phone internet connectivity was excellent (even on the notoriously patchy VI network), which could be courtesy the nearby mobile tower.

Food was good. General cleanliness and housekeeping ok. Toilet cleaning need extra care. Location and property is fantastic

The location of the mountain quail resort is Excellent with great views of the entire mountain ranges. The rooms are clean and overall fine. some small fixtures were loose but doesn't take away from the comfort. The rooms were cozy and had full view of the mountains. They have a restaurant. The food was average and the menu limited . The staff was courteous and helpful. Morni hills doesn't offer too many tourist like attractions but it's a good and quiet place to relax and enjoy fresh air.

Very convenient location right on the road, very scenic views all around , good food and courteous staff. Ample parking space.

The rooms were clean and nice. The service was absolutely amazing. They tended to all our needs.

Location the Road was OK, near by ticker tap was a good spot for day visit.

The setting of the hotel Mountain Quail was excellent. The room in which we stayed, was spacious. The only problem was that the hand shower for bathing was not working. The behaviour of the staff was extremely good. They were very helping. The food served was also good. This place is very quiet and peaceful and away from the noise and air pollution of the cities. Though the Road leading to Morni hill from Panchkula was damaged in some stretches. But once you reach there, you find this place so good that you tend to forget the little pain while reaching here
