Hidden Gem on ECR
We were a group of 12 including 4 kids. The day before our checkin date, the hotel manager Mr. Vishnu connected and enquired for any special needs or making any arrangements for the group. The hotel is bang on ECR, around 500metres before Mammalapuram. A large size Transformer robot welcomes guests on arrival at the reception which Kids absolutely loved! The checkin was super smooth with Mr. Vishnu personally checking us in and showed us our rooms. The rooms (sea facing) were pretty big with all amenities available. Super comfortable bed, a full size diwan, mini fridge etc., The hotel has a large pool and lawn area for activities. It also has arcade games area where kids can play games. The breakfast spread was also good with taste also being good. Overall service also is very prompt and good. The hotel has a large car parking lot which can easily accommodate 15+ cars. Hotel Monte Carlo is going to be our go to hotel on ECR henceforth.

Excellent Stay
location and service is awesome.Food is tasty and very hygienic. No complain and i am surely recommmend this hotel . It is value for money. little bit disappointed with the breakfast options.They should include fruits and fresh juice .

Excess charged even after giving confirmation.
Hotel refused to accommodate 4 adults in the room which was earlier confirmed. I was asked to pay Rs 4000/- additional.. I had expressed my displeasure to the hotel staff but they agreed that they had confirmed it without checking. I even asked for some discount but that was also refused. I think this is not correct & the excess money should be refunded to me. I wanted to escalate this immediately after the stay, but could not due to other commitments.

A decent stay option in Mahabalipuram, well located !
Definitely one of the good places to stay in Mahabalipuram. Its value for money and located at a good distance . Everything in in and around the place.

Excellent service and a pleasant stay
The montecarlo hotel provides a very well maintained enviroment with experienced staffs handling all queries and supporting in every need. The place is accessible to mahabalipuram within 5kms, and thiruporur via nemeli in 10kms. We can reach the mahab beach or site visit within 10 mins. They arrange cabs on request for any local travel, also we have share auto and city bus stop just outside the permises. The food is prepared in customizations if requested, tasty and freshly made. The rooms are neat and hygiene maintained. Gym and swimming pool is allowed for customer use. The area is quite calm and decent providing a decent stay. Definitely suitable for families, personal and business people. Thank you team for giving us a good experience.

Overpriced and isn't worth the money
The services provided and the quality of services aren't worth the price for this hotel. We were provided rooms, from where the intercom wasn't working. The photographs given in the description are from a new (under construction) building whereas the other (rather old) building rooms aren't in display! one of the 2 rooms we booked, had a window which has no provision to be locked from inside. The television placed in the room mere had any channels other than some vernacular channels. The restaurant was pretty slow in serving the lunch that too having 2 out of 4 dishes served as salt free!

actually stay was pleasant good ambience and dinner menu was very good 👍 room wasn’t clean and found bed bugs inside room there was some old used tissues lying in cupboard and floor complimentary breakfast was average need to improve taste . receptionist and attenders wer very polite

I have provided a room which has lots of complaints, tv, ac are not working. Horrible experiences, i was running with different rooms to check the ac at night 12 am, and stayed in non ac room
