I recently enjoyed a wonderful 3-day stay at Mayfair Waves, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the warm hospitality and smooth check-in process set the tone for a relaxing and memorable experience. The location is unbeatable—right by the beach, offering stunning views and the calming sound of waves at all hours. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities. I especially loved the private balcony where I could unwind and enjoy the ocean breeze. The staff deserves special praise for their attentiveness and professionalism. Every interaction, whether at the front desk, restaurant, or housekeeping, was marked by genuine care and a friendly attitude. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The food was another highlight. The buffet breakfast had a great variety of Indian and continental options, all fresh and flavorful. We also tried the in-house restaurant for dinner and were impressed by the quality and presentation of each dish. The infinity pool overlooking the sea was a perfect spot to relax, and the overall atmosphere of the resort felt serene and upscale without being pretentious. We also appreciated how well-maintained the entire property was, from the gardens to the common areas.

Poor Stay
Average Stay at Mayfair Waves* I recently stayed at Mayfair Waves for 2 nights, and unfortunately, my experience was just average. While the property has its strengths, there were some significant shortcomings that detracted from my overall stay. The room initially assigned to us had pigeon poop all over the balcony, which was unacceptable. However, the staff was responsive, and we were shifted to a different room upon request. The bigger letdown was the food. Given Mayfair's reputation, I expected a certain standard, but the buffet offerings were repetitive and uninspired. Both breakfast and dinner had the same dishes on both days, which got boring quickly. What's more, it seemed like leftover dinner food was used in breakfast without much creativity. For instance, leftover vegetables were stuffed into parathas without any effort to disguise the dish. This lack of attention to detail was disappointing. On the plus side, the pool area was lovely, and the staff's hospitality was warm and welcoming. However, these positives were overshadowed by the subpar food quality. Overall, while Mayfair Waves has potential, it needs to up its game in terms of food quality and presentation to match its brand standards. *Rating:* 2.5/5 stars Recommendation:* Mayfair Waves could benefit from a revamp of its buffet menu and better food preparation practices to elevate the guest experience.

U can book this resort just for stay & good pictures but not book food.
Property is good ... big rooms, private beachfront... private lifeguards clean beachside. Pool was not that clean but okay to swim ... very high charges for spa not well done, spa people were behaving as if doing for free. Food was pathetic. My personal advice not to book with food. Some Staff were extremely rude.

Family room occupancy
The rooms have only occupancy for two.For a family of three,the child if more than 12 years is considered extra occupancy.Everywhere that we have travelled,1 offspring is included with parents.3 +1 occupancy is chargeable. This should not be the case.

Overall average hotel ... pathetic food ... not like 4 star hotel... staff is rude ... if u want to stay by the beach it’s a good hotel and rooms are spacious but don’t book food with room.

It was an awesome stay at mayfair waves.the room was large ,the property very well maintained and the location exemplary. I would recommend to anyone coming to Puri to stay at this property. The private beach was very clean and couldn't have hoped for a better short trip . Will come back soon.

good property having beach access...enjoyed pool side drinks...there are sand artist near the beach which is a plus point...less options in menu.... monkeys are also present in the property... they have kids play room which is also good... all staff is polite and service is good... always greet with smile... overall nice stay
