Madpackers Rishikesh is hands down the best hostel experience I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed like family. Arpita, William, Simran, and Varsha are absolute stars – warm, kind, and always going the extra mile to make every guest feel comfortable. The location is unbeatable – just minutes from Laxman Jhula, surrounded by cafes, yoga centers, and the serene Ganga. The rooftop is a dream – with breathtaking sunrise and sunset views that make every moment special. The rooms and dorms are clean, cozy, and well-maintained, while the common areas are lively and social. It’s the perfect balance of comfort and community, whether you’re a solo traveler, digital nomad, or here with friends. What truly sets this hostel apart is the team spirit created by Arpita, William, Simran, and Varsha. I have booked 1 bed in a 6 bed dormitory. The dorms were very neat and clean. there was enough space for luggage and storage. The staff was quite cooperative and friendly. They also have a big common room where community executives conduct different activities and games. I'd definitely recommend this place if you are a solo traveler and want to make new friends during your journey.

It has been great experience as always, this isn’t my first time visiting madpackers, rishikesh. The hospitality was on point and the staff had taken good care of especially Arpita. I felt the dorm hygiene has been compromised a little bit

The stay, people and the ambience was perfect. Staff was quiet helpful in guiding and arranging taxi/scooters from reliable sources. The only concern was we are not allowed to lock the room as it is a hostel and dormetry rooms cannot be locked.

So this what my 2nd visit to Madpackers. My 1st visit was amazing & therefore planned for the 2nd stay there. But unfortunately I had a very bad experience this time. The previous host were not there. New ppl were assigned & frankly speaking they are of no help. They are just tarnishing the good reputation built up by the previous host. I booked for 2nights. 2nd day we left the hostel locking our bag's in the locker & I washed my few daily used clothes & hanged in my bed area. After returning back during evening I found out that 3boys were sitting on my bed & chatting as they were not aware the bed was occupied or not bcoz the host present are useless. My clothes were also not there. The sheets were dirty as the boys got up over my bed with dirty feet. I requested the host to change the sheets. Late night around 4 after packing I went downstairs to have food before leaving.When I returned back I was shocked to find out that someone deliberately stamped on my bed with dirty feet & I immediately understood that it was done by someone from our room only. I guess when I asked the host to change my sheets their ego got hurt & the drunk man's balls gave the audacity to behave .When I informed the host he didn't cared & just replied that I already showed them their beds.

The experience was really good. I booked 2 beds just a day before and got them at a very reasonable price. The hostel was in a great location, with restaurants nearby, and the view from the rooftop was amazing ♥️. The place was clean, and the common area and rooftop were the highlights. It was my first time staying in a dorm, and I really enjoyed it. I’ll definitely stay at Madpackers again when I visit Rishikesh next time 😌

Experience was seriously pathetic and there was no basic facility available for drinking water and even washroom was non hygienic.

I actually booked a bunker bed, which is a 2 x 2 bunker four Manka bedroom for me and my son, sorry to say, but make my trip is not doing a safety check on this hotels, which are boutique and which are in expensive, but this bunker Bates had no safety handles, so you know getting up was a big trouble and getting down was risky and unsafe, and I fell down from the bunker bed to the ground floor. Cutting my bed. You know my back, really badly, and when I complained to the guy in reception. He said can't do anything because the owner is not here and nobody listens to us. So this is very sorry instead of affair. I obviously did not get time to report this because I wanted to kill myself quickly, but you make my trip should do something and at least get this inventory of 4 bed bunker bedroom completely off. they're not safe. I'm repeating myself. They're not not safe.

Difficult to find. No food available. The place ran out of water early morning, turning it into a stink bomb.

I stayed here twice and it's my go to place whenever I am in Rishikesh. come here and you will enjoy your time with the wonderful team.

i traveled as a solo travelers it's a descent place if you want to travel solo the rooms were really clean , the staff was really nice and cooperative . can't forget the scenic view from the terrace plus and common area was really nice and well maintained

This was my first solo trip and I stayed at Madpackers. It was an amazing experience! The place was clean, comfortable, and had a great vibe. The staff was really friendly and helpful – Sayani, Sarang, Sagar and everyone else were very kind. I felt safe and welcomed. Highly recommend for solo travelers!

It is really great staying at Madpacker. It is close to Lakshman jhula and view it quite adorable. I really like roof top and all the decorations and paintings done. Met some amazing people in here and guys from reception are quite helpful with all their local wisdom and ready to help with all the adventures and recommendations of cafe and sites.
