Good Stay
Fantastic location, close to the famous Madras Music Academy, US Embassy, Railway station and other central locations. Good parking facility and courteous staff. Complementary breakfast is tasty and sumptuous. Rooms are good for short stays and the bathroom is clean. Bedsheets need to be improved as they look old. Overall a good place for family stay and value for money. I will definitely recommend this place and plan to use it whenever I visit Chennai.

The staff are very helpful but if you are an early morning person, need to wait till 7.30 am for your morning cuppa. The room can be made better by doing some cobweb cleaning. No newspaper to the room, a covid era practice still in vogue.

Nice hotel but has gone down a bit in service and engagement
familyI typically like this hotel for its location, friendly management and good service. But this time was a let down. The old management wasn't there and someone who was a non local and six months on the job managed the place. Service was average and engagement with the customer minimal. No coffee till 7.30 am and that too nescafe served from the new in-house restaurant. No filter coffee, in Chennai. Hope this review is to make right changes because this is a preferred hotel of mine.

Poor Stay
familyBooked hotel for elderly parents aged 70 plus. Made full payment upfront. On arriving late in the night at around 10 pm at the hotel, they were told there are no rooms and nothing can be done. However on insisting that full payment has been made already, the receptionist after some reluctance allocated a room. This kind of stuff should be avoided. Not sure where the gap is. Is it with mm t or the hotel. They had no information of the booking.

Regrets
While the intention of the management may be good, the facilities left a lot to be desired. We had booked three rooms for a stay of 3 nights. Initially we were shown to rooms with rusty bathroom fittings and strictly functional status. When we asked for coffee with the free breakfast, we were told it was chargeable!( No self respecting South Indian would call that coffee). When we decided to cancel the booking, management allotted us rooms with clean bathrooms. I will not be returning to this facility.
