A getaway to remember
Kuruva Island Resort – a tranquil haven surrounded by lush greenery and the serene Kabini River. The stay was exceptional, thanks to the amazing team who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. My room with private pool was super cozy for a perfect staycation , and the rain added a romantic touch to the ambiance. The food was delicious, and the restaurant staff's hospitality was top-notch. A special mention to Albin and Pradeesh for their kindness and exceptional service. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and well-cared for, especially during the trekking and night safari with Pradeesh. His expertise and sharp eyes ensured I spotted an array of wildlife, including deer, samba deer, elephants, and bisons. The team's concern for my well-being, especially after a minor injury, was heartwarming. I'm grateful for the warmth and care shown to me during my stay.

Excellent Stay
We stayed at the kuruva island resort for 3 nights. It is a beautiful resort right next to the kabini river with well maintained, clean rooms. It has a lot of options for nature safaris and tours with adequate indoor activities as well. Their food spread at the buffet is adequate and every item was well made and tasty. What is most exceptional about the resort is their friendly and warm staff. My family was looked after how a guest would have been taken care of at a homestay. They look after all your needs and requests and are cordial and happy to interact with you. They were very thoughtful and even provided is with some of their local farm produce like Jackfruits and fresh ginger. I eagerly look forward to going back to the resort just for their warm hospitality

Average Stay
It was a normal resort not worth for the amount they charge. All beverage and food items are overpriced. Climate was also not good on may month, it was hot ..Staffs are very good and polite ..The roads leading to this place is very bad condition..nothing much to explore outside also..

Average Stay
1night stay in summer:We had decent stay with food being very good . The room was great as per picture and the staffs behaviour was very good. But the kabini view is very average and the resort is not spacious also.Multiple amenities were there but very basic. They had nice spread of breakfast options but it was almost empty by 10 and we had to keep asking for it. Overall it was a decent stay , hopefully more enjoyable in rainy season.

Excellent Stay
We had a great stay at kuruva island resort and spa. The resort is located by the banks of kabini river and is blessed with diverse wildlife. Rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable. Food was great, with a lot of customisation options available. Last, but not the least, the staff at the hotel was extremely courteous and helpful. They were very prompt and made sure we have a memorable stay. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

The resort was beautiful and we'll kept. The staff was attentive, responsive and friendly. Well worth the cost. The only feedback would be to have better vegetarian options. Wayanad should be back on the map as an attractive destination

Good Stay
Nice place to stay with family. Staff is very good and good in door facilities like badminton court. Food is decent and there are nearby attractions to visit. The resort provides jeeps for safari and visit to sunrise points and temples.

Family friendly resort with great food and amenities.
familyIt was an unforgettable stay at kuruva island resort. We booked two premium family rooms and one executive suite room. Both were quiet spacious, with lovely balconies and super clean. We enjoyed lunch, dinner and breakfast, and the food was very delicious. We had north indian, chinese and fresh juices, all of them were excellent. The paneer chilly was a standout dish - kudos to the chef! regarding amenities, there's a small swimming pool that can accommodate 5-6 people and a kiddie pool for 3-4, indoor games include fuseball, archery, carom, badminton court, pool board, and children's play area. Everything is well maintained. As for hospitality, it was exceptional. It was just like the services you'd get at the taj - top-notch. The staff, from the security guard to the receptionists to the jeep drivers, were all very friendly and always had a smile on their faces. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and i highly recommend it. The resort is just a 5 minute drive to kuruva island and a 40 minute drive to the nagarhole safari. We're looking forward to staying again in the winter.

Fulfilling stay with lots of sweet memories – 10 Stars out of 5 :) Words cannot express the kind of experience we had in this place. One thing that distinguished Kuruva Island resort and spa from the rest of the 5-star resorts we stayed is the amazing hospitality that is on offer. Every staff in this resort is so friendly, always with a smile and ready to help you for anything you need. They work so passionately, and make you feel that you are part of their extended family and not a guest. We made so many friends - Anoop – as someone rightly put it is the gem of this resort. He took us for the village and the paddy fields tour which was just mind blowing. He also shared so many of his personal experiences in the jungle. His jeep driving skills is ammaaazzzing !! :) Vishnu – the singer and guitarist was truly awesome... he sang some beautiful Hindi, Tamil and English songs for us…. Another Vishnu – who took us for the night safari – had so much knowledge and was able to give us a glimpse of the wild animals, ensuring that we were all at a safe distance and weren’t disturbing the animal’s privacy. Ratheesh and team in the front desk who ensured smooth check-in / check-out and the banquets team who ensured that the food was super sumptuous. I might have missed a few names, but believe me, every single one, including the care taker of rabbits and the gardeners were just amazing people We did Night safari, River walk, a trip to Wayanad (Banasura dam, tea estate etc) and the paddy field visit with Anoop – all of these were fantastic and 2 days just flew so fast. I wish I had more time to spend as it is so refreshing to sit in one of the rocks with Kabini river water flowing through your legs and listening to the birds cooing... All in all, we had a lovely, comfortable and a memorable stay at Kuruva islands Resort and Spa. I would strongly recommend anyone going to Wayanad to visit this place at least once… Thanks once again to the entire team of Kuruva Island Resort & Spa. We have already started planning for the next trip there, with a bigger gang !
