Review Of KSTDC Hotel Mayura Hoysala Mysore

I was staying in room no A3 and A4. The door for A4 was jam. Everytime we had to take lot of effort to open and close it I told the hotel staff on very first day but there was no action till our checkout.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Try to go for Delux room. Has a bar too. Very accessible. Good ambience. Room service needs improvement.

Great location and beautiful building. The restaurant is also good. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious with old style high ceiling. The verandah adds to the comfort and ambience.

only location and exterior view is good. no basic room service. rooms are also not maintained even though infrastructure is good

Location was really good. Basic Amenities & Staff behaviour was average. Breakfast was overpriced, taste was average. Items are very less.

Very good experience!! Loved it. Location is prime. Food is very tasty and stay is peaceful. Room are very clean and service is awesome.

Hotel is connected to Mysure Railway Station and Mysure Palace, Breakfast is good, delicious. Room is clean and hygiene.

It was definitely not worth the money however manageable, but the room service staff were unprofessional — they were using inappropriate language and arguing with each other in front of guests, showing no regard for families, women, or children staying at the hotel. They should be properly trained in professional behaviour and customer etiquette.

The hotel is at the center part of Mysore n the facilities are ok. Not too fancy n great. Good for 1 night stay. Rooms are very old n needs renovation

Property location is very good. Rooms maintenance is poor. Bathroom door was locked from inside and no lock was available with hotel management to open door, to open locked door maintenance person had to come from outside and we had to wait for longtime. Food is too costly with very limited items served on buffet. Overall it's below average maintenance from hotel management.

recently stayed at Myshore Mayura Hotel. The room was okay, comfortable enough but nothing extraordinary. The food, however, was quite tasty and made the stay more enjoyable. The restaurant service was noticeably slow, which was a little at times, but the quality of the dishes delivered was good and fresh. Staff behavior could definitely be improved, as it lacked warmth and attentiveness. Overall, decent experience mainly because of the food.

Room has beg bucks and other insects

There were no towels in the room. we had to remind them to send it . We asked for room service of food. the restaurant said, the hotel is full so please come and have a buffet lunch. There was no hot water in the hotel bathroom . When we called the reception , someone came and checked. He told that the valve is jammed. They tried for almost 30 mins and couldn't fix it. We were having a toddler and needed hot water badly. We demanded a different room. Finally they gave us another room. We had booked a suite but we had to spend the night in a smaller room. It was actually a downgrade. I am giving an average rating because they gave us a different room and allowed us to extend the check out time to 2pm to compensate for this damage. I will never book this hotel again. ambience is good. but food is tasteless. Breakfast spread is good. Lunch buffet is not worth it. It's managed by government. So, behavior is like any other government office.

The property has some good qualities, such as its walkable distance from the railway station. However, there are some drawbacks to consider. Areas for Improvement - The ground floor rooms may not be suitable for small children due to noise from other businesses in the premises, especially at night. - The restaurant service was disappointing, with long wait times (we waited until 1:45 pm to start lunch). - Even alcohol was serving infront of hotel : making the totally unsafe for families staying on ground floor. - The service staff's behavior could be improved. Overall Assessment While the property has potential, the issues mentioned above bring down the overall experience. With some improvements, it could be a great place to stay. Currently, it's a below average experience.
