Great stay , had a wonderful experience in Jais retreat, ooty , beautiful view from balcony all the rooms were view facing , Hospitality was great the owners made us feel like home with their humbleness and the food was all naturally made not frozen , the room was also beautiful as they have made sky and stars view lighting on the roof. It was peaceful and had tea garden view. Highly recommended stay

Everything was awesome... Good place for a peaceful and scenic stay... Room is very clean and neat... view from the rooms also awesome.. only thing bothering us was vehicle parking.. skillful driving needed otherwise it's quiet dangerous... And the Food also amazing...they have few items in the menu card . but they cook it very nicely for you... Awesome Stay

We stayed at this hotel yesterday, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly kind, humble, and had such great character. Their warm and welcoming attitude made us feel right at home. The hotel itself was beautiful — the atmosphere was calm, peaceful, and very well-maintained. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. Everything about the stay, from the service to the surroundings, exceeded our expectations. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing stay!

Had a pleasant experience overall. The room was neat, clean, and maintained to an above-average standard. Amenities provided were satisfactory and contributed to a comfortable stay. The villa upheld good standards of safety and hygiene, which was very reassuring. The food served was delicious and freshly prepared, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making the stay more enjoyable. However, there is room for improvement. There were multiple interruptions in electricity during the night, which affected the comfort level. Additionally, providing tissue boxes in the rooms would be a thoughtful and useful touch. Overall, I would recommend this villa and look forward to improvements in these areas.

Rooms were clean and comfy, though the way to the resort is narrow for car, I loved the location. we watched deers and elephants from within our room.

We stayed here for 2 days, and it has been one of the best stays of my travels. Vijay was very helpful, and the manager and the food were excellent. The view was absolutely wonderful and beyond our expectations. A car with a good torque engine is recommended to reach this hotel, as the road involves a bit of a climb.

Overall the stay was good. The location of the hotel is everything. But there were some issues with our washroom and the bedroom was leaking during rain. No room service of tea/coffee. Limited options for dinner and breakfast.

I had a great experience staying at Jai’s Retreat in Ooty. The hospitality was top-notch, especially thanks to the manager, Mr. John Charles, who went out of his way to make our trip comfortable and memorable. He was extremely helpful in planning our Ooty sightseeing itinerary, giving us valuable suggestions that made exploring the area much easier and more enjoyable. The food was another highlight—delicious, fresh, and had a comforting home-like feel. It really added to the warmth and charm of the stay. The overall ambiance of the retreat is peaceful and relaxing, making it a perfect getaway spot. Highly recommend Jai’s Retreat for anyone visiting Ooty—excellent service, great food, and a very homely vibe!

It is the most wonder stay of my overall journey experience till date. I have seen this kind of property very rarely. With mesmerising view and extremely lovely weather. You can’t discriminate that what is good what is bad in this place. Because there will be no loopholes you will find. It is the best stay.

Room is very small as per the cost of the room. we are 3 adults. The Geyser wasn't working properly. One thing is good that is the front view of the hotel.

approach road to the hotel is not easy to drive, was pathetic. food was very good homemade tyoe and awesome taste. beautiful scenic view from and around the hotel is away from ooty around 11 km.
