I recently stayed at (gujarat bhavan),and it was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The Room was spacious and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch, with helpful and friendly staff.and the food was too good.

Location is great. All the view points are at a very short distance from this place. For those who prefer vegetarian and light food , this is a great place to be in. You get great breakfast, delicious lunch and a variety of items to enjoy in dinner. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The owner looks into every thing.

Rooms are too old and not maintained. Aircon is horrible and can not cool entire room. Curtains are very old and dirty. It does not cover entire window. Bathroom taps were not working properly. The washbasin water flow was too low. Bathroom walls were very dirty and not cleaned. Bed legs were not aligned with floor and was making sound. Food was very good taste wise, dining area can be setup in better way. Staff is excellent both house keeping and dining. Always ready to help and very attentive.

We had a comfortable stay at gujarat bhavan matheran. Checkin was smooth. The rooms are specious and clean. It is about 7-8 mins walk to the market. Centrally located and one can cover few points which are nearby. Khandala point is 5mins walk and one can go to view the sunrise from there. The food was good and homely. Ample options were available for lunch and dinner. Some scope to improve the breakfast and snacks. The staff is cordial and helpful. There are enough things to do - large garden, badminton court, table tennis chess, ludo, carrom and other games. They also arranged magic show, karaoke, calligraphy name suvniour for everyone during our two night stay. Over all enjoyed our holiday at the hotel.
