The stay was amazing exactly as show in the picture. The host was a really good person he was very helpful and great to talk with.

It was my first stay experience at home stay and i had a wonderful stay. Faroq bhai and family were very welcoming and they extended great service to make our stay memorable. They serve delicious home cook food and room were clean and well maintained. Best place for family stay thank you for making my trip wonderful.

Green woods homestay is in tangmarg which is at a convenient distance from gulmarg where the cost of stay per day is really really high. The room was very neat and well carpeted. The bathroom too was neat and clean. There's a separate dining room. The host mr dear and his family are extremely hospitable and kind. The location is nice and it has a nice outdoor sit-out. Snow capped mountains also can be seen from location. I would surely recommend this place. Taxis charge 600- rupees one-way to gulmarg gondola point to and fro.

I highly recommend this place if you are into scenic natural view and a true tourist in nature and looking for a comfortable staying. We thoroughly enjoyed our staying at greenwood's homestay. We were overwhelmed with the way they generously greeted us that made us feel like home. Besides, best possible way to try out kashmiri special food is when you get it made by a mother in a homely ambience. Specifically wazwan is a must one to try here. As a tourist we wanted to try out this special kasmiri food but didn’t know which restaurant would be good for this. So, best thing is to take it from your homestay. Overall, cleanliness, the view from our room and other amenities were top-notch.
