Review Of Golden Star

just finished the renovation so most of expected 4 star facilities are still not available as of 3 sept 2025

The property is very near to the railway station and at the heart of kollam city. It's a relatively new hotel and the rooms are neat and clean. The service of the staff was good. Unfortunately, on our day of visiting the restaurant was not functional. Hope that it will be open soon.

Spacious and clean room with good facilities for the price charged. Restaurant wasn't functional during my stay, however the authorities told that it would become functional in the coming weeks. Ordering food was allowed. Located opposite to the back entrance of the kollam junction railway station, access to transport is very good.

The facilities in the accommodation were really good and well maintained. Staff is also good.

For a 3-star hotel, it exceeded my expectations in several ways! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile and ensuring we were comfortable. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and came with all the essential amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The location was fantastic, with easy access to Rail, Bus station and beach. Despite its central location, the hotel was surprisingly quiet, which made for a peaceful night’s sleep. Overall, GOLDEN STAR is a great option for travelers seeking affordability without compromising on comfort and service. I would happily stay here again!
