The Hotel staff were very kind. The property location was easy to find. Food taste was average. Pool water chlorine content was extremely high and not a toddlers friendly pool. The room is very spacious but below average condition. Indoor and outer game sets were old and damaged. Not worth the money.

We - a group of five family members - came to stay at lake n river resort, munroe island. Both the island as well as the resort were completely unknown to us. We came without any expectation, but returned delighted with the experience we got here. The resort is so remotely and beautifully set up right on the lake. The rooms were very clean. The service by each and every staff member was courteous and friendly. The food items prepared by the chefs, prakash joshi and johnson were wonderful - a lunch, dinner and the breakfast next morning - they took care to prepare the dishes specially well for each customer. The two boys - josel and vishnu took our menu orders and were wonderful! we were overall very impressed with the service provided by these people. We would certainly try visiting them again.

coupleWe have stayed in lake facing room the entire property is excellent wherever you look there is different views we went 2 hours boat ride from the property itself. Wow. No words to explain the boat journey it is charable the service is top notch quality of food is yummy

The place is not maintained properly, pathways, rooms, advised that dinner will be served at 08:00 pm, but staff kept saying it would be ready in 10 mins, eventually we got dinner at 08:50 after going to the restaurant the 4 th time.

The stay was good the staffs are very kind and are happy to help you with all the local planning and stuff. The only thing that i personally found a bit difficult was the location and getting to the location. If you are getting a local bus from kollam junction you have to catch 2 busses and then get down at the canara bank bus stop at mun-roe island.

groupWe stayed with family for 1 night. Nice property. Friendly staff. They have canoeing and kayaking facilities available in the property. Main improvement will be a swimming pool within in the property. Now the guests can have a dip in lake itself, but it's a bit risky.

One day stay at mun-roe

Loved the location of the resort however food and execution of request needs improvement. The food was not at all good and seemed like ordering indian but getting chinese food! the staff were courteous however the speed of execution needs improvement. We were told 15 minutes for everything we ordered but ended up waiting for an hour with lack of authenticity. Overall good for location but bad for food
