We had a highly disappointing experience with the night staff at this hotel in Ujjain. Upon our early morning arrival, we politely requested an early check-in, fully understanding that it might be subject to availability. However, the front desk staff on the night shift was shockingly rude, abusive, and completely unprofessional. Instead of calmly explaining the policy, they yelled at us, made personal remarks about how we should “use our brains,” and arrogantly claimed their “status” in the city due to running banquets. It was appalling behavior—a far cry from the basic standards of hospitality. 
That said, I would like to acknowledge that the day staff was courteous and cooperative, and handled things more professionally. But the night team urgently needs training in customer service and basic decency. Hospitality begins with respect, and unfortunately, that was completely missing during our first impression here.
