Felt Positive on -
1. Spacious room
2. Good size twin bed (though I stayed single)
3. Courteous front desk staff - mahesh and dev - they are friendly, communicative - double claps.
Felt very much Negative on -
1. The Lift was NOT working. Thank God - I was allotted 1st Floor #103. Imagine, a septuagenarian like me to climb further !!
2. Even before my signing the Guest Register, my luggage were taken up !! The Bell Boy just informed mahesh he is allotting #103 !!
3. There was NO mention in the Hotel Website, Makemytrip site/booking instructions that there would be NO toiletries being provided; then I could have taken along with me !! Though not very costly, these small small information/availability would keep the guest at ease.
4. Being an old building, possibly a house , the switch board are kept at a man's height - not at the bed level for easy operaton at night; how to hang the mobile for charging near the bedside !!
5. The Master Switch of the Room is at the entrance. I had to put off the master switch and walk in the pitch dark to the bed (only light available was the AC's green miniature bulb) - not to ask i could have used my mobile !~ that is not expected
6. The annoying thing was - the Room Key - It is inserted to auto-light/AC in the room and when taken out, every electricity connection to go off - but what is the shake off period - at least 15 seconds, by that time the guest would come out of the room to lock from outside - oh no, here, the moment the key is taken out, the room goes totally DARK (not even a second) - really a painful condition.
All these things I have informed mahesh/dev too before leaving the hotel.
Hence I would rate 4/10 for this hotel, though I would prefer staying here again, provided all these lacuna are taken care of for guest's convenience.
