My experience at this hotel was disappointing. The room provided is not worth the price Basic amenities such as a tea/coffee maker are missing. Although the room has a TV, the main Hindi channels are not available and the signal quality is very poor. Even the Chaspert channel is not accessible. The service is not good, and the food options are very limited. On top of that, the food prices are quite high for the quality offered. Overall, the stay did not meet my expectations and the hotel needs to improve both its facilities and service standards. -

Property is fairly old, every thing looks old age. If you are visiting the industrial area or the Madras International Circuit then its good location to stay. Not much of facilities its a basic lodge.

Below Average Stay Experience

The Bed was alright. So was the Air Conditioning. Breakfast buffet was good. Bookings are given accomodation in the adjacent building, where the rooms are not as good as the Main Hotel. Bathroom was extremely disappointing. The pot was filthy, room service totally missed that. The flush didn't work, had to pour water from a bucket. Only because I was traveling solo (and was exhausted) did I adjust and not complain about these issues (not sure how that interaction would've gone) The room was totally NOT worth the price paid

The new building of the siah hotel is really good. Neat and clean with all the amenities that one would require. The staff at the hotel are really great and they make all the difference to your stay. Sum a ma'am and mr. Vikram are very approachable and always wiling to help. I had a great stay at the siah hotel. Always good to book directly with the hotel rather than booking through any third party vendor.
