Disappointing Experience – Definitely Not a 4-Star Hotel
I stayed at this hotel expecting a 4-star experience, but unfortunately, it did not meet even basic 3-star standards. The room had a constant foul, sewer-like smell which made the stay very uncomfortable. The bathroom floors were dirty and clearly not cleaned properly before check-in. The room decor looked old and poorly maintained, and some of the furniture was broken, which added to the sense of neglect. Overall, the room did not reflect the quality one expects from a hotel with such a rating. The food served was average — nothing special but not bad either. On a positive note, the staff were polite, courteous, and always willing to help, which was the only redeeming aspect of the stay. Would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made.

Excellent Stay
I had a wonderful stay at Dpolo Hotel! The location is absolutely perfect — nestled in a peaceful area with stunning views of the snow-covered Dhauladhar peaks right from the room. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with large windows that offer a truly breathtaking view. The food was another highlight — everything we tried was fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, the quality and variety were impressive. The staff was polite, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, which really made the stay even more enjoyable. If you’re planning a trip to Dharamshala, I highly recommend staying here for a relaxing and scenic experience!

Wonderful Stay
I stayed at Dpolo for 1 day. Loved the service they provided. Their Spa has very professional staff, I really enjoyed foot massage. Evening at terrace was more enjoyable. Will definitely visit again.

Average Stay
A little away from main city & lack of commute to main city. food was good & staff courteous. But the stench from washroom, sewer was terrible. I had to keep the balcony door open, AC switched off and fan on to survive.

A Mixed Experience
A mixed experience. We recently stayed at this place and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the staff were incredibly polite and friendly, making us feel welcome and at ease. The rooms offered stunning views of the mountains and downstream, which was breathtaking. However, the bathrooms were a major letdown. The foul smell was overwhelming and made our stay less enjoyable. Overall, while the staff and views were great, the bathroom issues brought down our experience.

Amazing!
Very nice property situated at a convenient location with great views of Dhauladhar range. The roof top restaurant/bar is cherry on top! Rooms are nice and clean with great views. Room service and housekeeping are at par. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

Experience in d polo was awesome. There was live band on roof top of resort. Only 1 thing, the pool table (game) was on extra payment basis. It was not included in room rent. Rest breakfast was also great
