Our recent stay at this resort during the monsoon season was deeply disappointing and far below any acceptable standard of hospitality. From the outset, it was evident that the property is significantly aged and suffers from a serious lack of maintenance. There was no communication from the resort prior to our arrival, which added to the disorganization and left us unprepared for the condition of the place.
We were initially assigned a wood cottage, which was in extremely poor condition—damp, musty, and permeated with an unpleasant odor. The state of the cottage compelled us to request a room change, and we were subsequently moved to a junior deluxe suite. Unfortunately, this alternative did not offer much improvement. The suite also had a stale smell, and the bedding and linens were in such poor condition that we had to use our own perfume to make the environment tolerable.
Most of the amenities advertised by the resort were either non-functional or in an unusable state. The swimming pool, for instance, appeared to have been neglected for a long time and was clearly unfit for use. The breakfast service was equally subpar—meals were cold, tasteless, and lacked basic quality, making it an unappealing way to start the day.
This has been one of the most unpleasant travel experiences we have encountered. It is truly concerning that this property is still listed on reputable platforms such as MakeMyTrip. We strongly urge both the resort management and booking platforms to reevaluate the listing until significant improvements are made. Until then, we recommend that potential guests avoid this resort to prevent a similarly unsatisfactory experience.
