I had a very bad experience at Hotel Canoe. We checked in at 9:30 PM (we had called them earlier to request an extra bed for the additional guest). Even after reaching the room, they didn't provide the extra bed. Later, after calling the reception around 10:40 PM, they brought the bed. It was very dirty and didn't even have pillow covers - all stains. Overall, very bad service. Breakfast was also not worth the money.

Comfortable holiday with family stay at Kannur hotel Canoe

The Canoe hotel is situated near the bus station / city centre and all of the places are easily accessible from here. Hotel rooms are quite spacious and very well maintained. The plus point is that the rooms are very neat and clean. The breakfast buffet was good with all of the varieties served. The staff were helpful and courteous, service was very good and this made our stay comfortable in Kannur. Central Air conditioning was good and better maintained and gave relief in Kannur s hot n humid climate. Overall we had a comfortable stay at this hotel.

The property is situated very near to the railway station, the hotel room was spacious and clean, the behaviour of the staffs was very good, food of the restaurant is average, car parking is available, the swimming pool was not functional... The hotel location was very good... just walking distance to railway station. Room was spacious Food spread was good. Only issue was breakfast would start late, even though 8am was breakfast time... it would start at 8.30am.
