Clyford Inn

Our stay at this hotel was one of the worst experiences in recent memory. The room and bathroom were in an unhygienic condition — used soaps were left in the bathroom, the toilet was not properly cleaned, and the bed sheets looked dirty. The curtains were stained and had signs of mold, and even the telephone line was covered with dirt and food residue. . It was extremely uncomfortable as we couldn’t sleep properly due to loud noises from the adjacent room throughout the night. The walls had peeling paint, and there were clear mold issues in the room, making the environment unhealthy. Overall, the property was poorly maintained and far below basic cleanliness standards. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

The hotel is very nice rooms and the facilities have superb services. The rooms are very neat and clean , and the hotel is really near to the town and the hotel situated in the centre of town so we can reach very easy. And the parking also very nice the rooms and toilets are really neat and clean .

The hotel was realy nice and the rooma are also very clean and attractive and mainly the facilities are also realy very good service too

The stay is very poor and disgusting.Not worth for the money.it's an old building and amenities.I am not satisfied with clyford kannur. Please talk with the Hotel management and tell them to renovate the property. I do not suggest the room for anyone.

Clyfford Inn in Kannur was a total letdown for us. I can list down the terrible experience below: 1) When we checked in to the hotel, we were given a key to our two rooms and left by ourselves to find the room and bring the luggage. No one showed us to our rooms 2) The elevator we took didn't close its doors, and we had to seek help to close the elevator 3) The key to one of the rooms wouldn't open the door, and I had to go all the way down to the reception to seek help. 4) The room had broken lights, and the key wouldn't turn on any lights, so they gave us another room. 5) The towels in the room weren't clean; the bedding had a smell; there were no kettle and tea bags in the room to make tea. 6) The remote of the TV was dirty, the battery was open and it didn't work properly 7) There was no hot water in the bathroom 8) The fan was shaking and made a sound while running. we felt the fan was lose and would fall down, so we kept the fan OFF 9) The hotel does not have a restaurant of its own. They have some deal with a close by restaurant to do room service. It's a very local restaurant that doesn't do the room service nicely. 10) We paid extra money to book a room with breakfast. I called the room service for tea at 6 a.m., and they said breakfast wouldn't be ready till 7:45 am. Even at 7:45, they said the breakfast wasn't ready for room service. Later, we visited the local restaurant the hotel had a tie-up with and had breakfast . The breakfast was decent, but the expectation of a 3 star hotel was definitely not met. The only nice thing I could mention about our stay was even though the check out time was at 12 pm the hotel let us stay in one of the rooms booked till 2:50 pm till our train time. Overall, the stay was quite disappointing. the room also had stains on the walls and looked like a hotel they actually had plans to shut down. I felt so bad that our booking didn't meet our expectations.

Near Railway station. Nice room except Hot water throught the day .very spacious

There's nothing special about the breakfast. Just two items. No buffet like other hotels. It's okay.

Location is good but hotel is not upto the mark. Not clean , poor lift , poor main door lock and not good

I had a good experience during my stay. The rooms were quite neat and clean. If a car charging facility were provided, it would be even better.

The room was unclean with bad smell. We found rats in the room. The staffs were okay okay. Overall its not worth for the money

This hotel is ideally located to meet the needs of its residents, especially solo or business travellers, with multiple options of banks, atms, multi-cuisine restaurants, bookshops, big brand shopping outlets and malls within walking distance. Located a bit off the main road, one can actually walk around and explore the locality at the end of a day's work! the hotel staff is also responsive to clients' requests. The wi-fi service however, is unreliable and could do with improvement

The room was not clean bathroom especialy not clean we ate breakfast at the reasturent and it is pathentic no taste for food no value for money rooms are not same like in photo

We stayed in standard room no. 105 of this hotel from 17th january to 22nd january, 2025. I'm extremely dissapointed with our stay at this hotel. Cleanliness is zero, no wifi is available. The entire room and bathroom was infested with cockroaches. They have a restuarant in the ground floor which only caters to non-vegetarians. Inspite of leaving the room key at the reception for cleaning, it was not cleaned. The linens were unclean, towels weren't changed and inf-act the bathroom was used by their cleaners and left in even worse condition than earlier. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone for even a night's stay. The only advantage is that its in the centre of the city and very close to the kannur railway station. I don't understand why mm t has such hopeless properties/hotels in their list. Mmt needs to do better homework before recommending such hotels to its customers. Asha warier

Not a good place. Not at all satisfactory with the price charged. Room not clean. Many switches in room were not working and ac also was terrible. Lift was not working. Overall bad experience.

Hotel stay & facilities were good, except for food arrangements. For two hours late checkout, they collected money from us

Very good stay at colyford kannur. Very good staffs and clean rooms. Silent area. Good hotels near by there. Auto, bus, railway stations are near by there!

The room and its premises were neat and clean. Rather than direct booking, it z very easy book mm t and will bet budget price.

The hotel was decent. The room was okay. All basic required amenities were there like toiletries and towels. Ac wasn’t too powerful but worked fine. Staff was courteous and allowed me a super early checkin at 6am in the morning. Would recommend this place for a quick stay.
