The property is not well maintained and has issues in the rooms bathrooms. The staff is not responsive and in fact one can clearly see lack of responsibility and ownership. We had a confirmed booking for two rooms of a particular category but yet upon arrival we were given one room of a different( inferior) quality. It was only next day that we were given one upgraded room after we complained to make my trip and after long discussion. The new room was on a different floor and we were told that two rooms on the same floor cannot be provided as there ia only one room available. However, after two hours when we complained regarding the i’ll functioning bathroom in our room we were also surprisingly provided a room on the same floor ( by a different staff member. The food quality is below average and in fact i did not care to eat the breakfast on the second / last day of my stay with them. A food item which we requested them to replace because of excessive salt was replaced without any change whatsoever. The in room dining / house keeping staff is simply the worst we have ever come across. For instance we were initially refused to be given more than one glass in the room, pillow was refused with the extra bed, there were mosquitos in the room yet we were not provided good night / repellent siting unavailability etc. All in all, the stay with clarion inn turned out to be poor and we would really not advise this property to travellers. Also. They would simply not turn on the air conditioning in the lobby ( in the month of august) and the staff at the reception had a small cooler to cool them off. It’s only when i complained that they turned it on. On the day of our checkout, they switched off the ac in our room at 10:30 am. This, by far, was the most pathetic hotel stay ever for us.
