This is the worst resort I have ever stayed in. There are no facilities of any kind and the people there treat the customers very badly. The resort did not provide us with any kind of soap, towels or water. You should never suggest such bad villas. The staff there told us to leave at noon and got into a verbal argument with the staff, which is why we left. You should refund our money.

We would like to clarify that misbehaviour under the influence of alcohol and harassment of our cottage staff is strictly prohibited at Avothar Stays and across all properties in Kodaikanal.
During your stay, our staff faced inappropriate behaviour, which was immediately reported to the MakeMyTrip customer support team along with supporting evidence. Despite this, we still honoured your booking from check-in to check-out as scheduled and extended all basic courtesies within the scope of your reservation.
We maintain CCTV and on-ground staff reports to back our position. We urge MakeMyTrip to take such incidents seriously and enforce stricter guidelines for guests, while ensuring that false allegations and defamatory reviews are not published without proper verification or prior communication with the host property.
