We had a wonderful stay at this place. The ambience was truly refreshing and calming, perfect for a peaceful getaway with family and friends. The surroundings were clean, well-maintained and added to the charm of the place. What stood out the most was the staff — the caretakers were warm, attentive, and made sure we felt at home throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a welcoming atmosphere with aesthetic things.

Akkandi vedu is an exceptional property located away from hustle bustle but yet in close proximity to main town. Property is clean and well maintained. You can get home cooked meals on the property. Most of the things you will need away from your home would be present here.

I could stay here forever, amazing service. The food is also really good. 11/10 experience.

Nice stay with proximity of near by main junctions and food is good. Room’s are so clean and neat with great housekeeping and friendly staff’s service

Great service especially by hari, mary, ganesan and radha. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Service was prompt and quick. We took a patio and a studio house and was comfortable for 7 people. The sit out in the patio was the standout. Great food as well. You need to order at least 4 hours in advance though for lunch and dinner. Location is great if you want to stay away from the city. (30 minute walk. Calm and secluded. A couple of small improvements - the hot water quantity in the master bedroom of room 202 is very low despite having the heater on for more than an hour. Didn’t face this issue in the other rooms. Each apartment comes with one room heater. Ideally there should be a room heater for each bedroom (each apartment has two) given it’s 10-12 degrees in the night. While we did get an extra heater when we asked we would have preferred one more but we were told they didn’t have anymore (they were running a full house. Despite the above two we still had a great stay and experience.

The stay was super clean and comfortable, hospitality and food was excellent. Especially the location of the stay was perfect. The staffs including sasi, radha, mary, ganesan and surya were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be staying here while visiting kodaikanal again

the house is very well maintained. given the misty weather almost every day of the year in kodaikanal, it's mandatory to have some air purifier to take off the moss smell that you get once you enter the house agree, there's monkey menace if windows left open, hence either they have to have a fireplace inside or get air humidifier fixed to give fresh air feel to the travellers. otherwise, the stay was excellent 👌

Nice place to stay as a family. The 2 bedroom apt has good facilities and is very comfortable. Rooms are big and one room has 2 rocking chairs with table, so it was nice to relax. Nice view of chettiar park from the balcony. My children enjoyed watching movies on the big tv set. Service provided was good and people were very responsive. One thing that needs to be looked into is leakage in one of the bathroom walls, which spoiled the otherwise well maintained place.

Rooms are very spacious. Caretaker took good care. Breakfast is as good as home cooked food. Good place to enjoy n relax with you gang.

Awesome view and location, rooms are different, very good interiors and we love it. The hospitality was amazing especially siva and karthik. Thanks for being treated in a warm way.

Excellent stay at akandi veedu, we booked 2 studio aptmts, had some electrical glitch in few sockets due to power failure, except for that stay was excellent.
